A little peace of heaven

  • 5 of 5

My Wife and I were looking for a place to get away for a few days and to just get lost in the mountains together. We found our little piece of heaven nestled in the mountains only a short distance to Boone and Blowing Rock. We arrived late at night so we couldn't appreciate the beautiful views on the way up the road leading to the Cabin. From the minute we opened the front door and turned on the lights we were in amazement of all the beauty this home had to offer. The inside was spectacular and so much fun to walk around and look at all detail and unique items that were used to decorate the cabin. When we walked out on the extra large deck overlooking the valley we knew this was going to be a great weekend. We had a fantastic four days just relaxing and enjoying this beautiful home. I will warn you though, the extra large King master bed is extremely comfortable and with that view of the mountains it will be hard to get out of bed in the mornings. :-) I can't say enough about this beautiful home, the location is so close to shopping and restaurants but yet far enough away from to make it feel truly secluded and your own little part of the world.

The owners are awesome to work with and very responsive to questions. Highly recommend staying here, I know we will be back.

Much more than we ever expected

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I were taking our two year old to ride Thomas and we were looking for a cabin home close by the Tweetsie Railroad. We hit the jackpot, this house was right down the street. Bonus ,we could hear the train whistle from the deck as well. The home is beyond gorgeous. It was much more Grand than we expected and we actually did not think it was the house when we pulled up to it. I had my husband hover around the bottom of the driveway while I ran up to the front and tried the door code. It worked much to my surprise and excitement. The kitchen has everything you would need and we were so comfortable there just after an hour of arriving. The views from the deck are very impressive and it took us the rest of the day to take in all the details of the house. We do wish we had access to the basement so will pay the additional cost to have that as well next time.

We will return!

Making Memories

  • 5 of 5

My entire family 6 adults and 3 grandchildren came for the grandchildren's first snow experience, and boy did they enjoy it as did we. The house is beautiful, the deer were around the property, and the nights cold to enjoy the fireplace and outside patio overlooking Grandfather Mountain. The ski mountain is within 15 minutes of the cabin, and private lessons were given the grandchildren and they stayed on the beginner slopes for two days.

The only negative is when it snows, the driveway is nearly inaccessible unless you have a four wheel drive vehicle. We spent several hours pushing the first of two vehicles up the driveway.

No question, my entire family will come here again. The owners answered our many questions while we were deciding which cabin to rent, and we decided on this cabin. Everything that is shown in the pictures doesn't do justice to what it is really like there.

From the expansive yet coziness of the living room to the amazing kitchen and panoramic views from the large deck, not a single detail was spared. Close to major attractions and towns. Owners were a pleasure to work with and made all arrangement transactions simple and smooth. We look forward to returning soon. Highly recommend!

Outstanding Cabin for Mountain Celebration

  • 5 of 5

This is our second stay at this amazing, one of a kind gorgeous cabin. We had family members from age 3 to 81 to celebrate our daughter's graduation from Appalachian State University. The view and lovely deck to enjoy the outdoors is incredible. Inside we thoroughly enjoyed cooking in the enormous, well equipped kitchen. Many family members enjoyed the outdoors Jacuzzi. The location is great for Boone and Blowing Rock. The owner Melanie was great to work with. Our family can't wait for another trip to this incredible place.
