Cute 2 bedroom apartment in North Avondale that is pup friendly! Nice back yard to lounge in and a fun, tropical setting to relax in at the end of day after exploring Chicago. Close to Addison bus line and 20 min walk to the Addison blue line. Close to the highway with a beautiful park a block away. Walking distance to really great eateries including Cuban, Thai and American/Bars!
*please note - this is MY HOME, not an extra unit I’m renting. I do actually live here when there are no guests!*
Dog friendly - bowls and crates available for use if needed! There is an installed pet gate for pets comfort and safety and can be moved to block certain areas if needed. Beds and blankets available as well upon request. Big back yard and plenty of balls to throw around!
There is only one TV in one of the bedrooms as I do not watch TV and believe that life is made up of experiences, not sitting behind a screen. Feel free to move it to fit your needs but I do hope people who
are coming to visit Chicago enjoy the city and all it has to offer! ❤️
All rooms are pictured - please take note of that! There is also a back porch that has seating for 3-4 people. Feel free to bring inside metal chairs outside to use at mosaic red table. My neighbors broke my outdoor chairs so therefore keep my chairs inside now and bring them out when ready to use!
Washer and dryer is one floor below in basement and belongs to just me (M-F and shared with upstairs tenant on weekend). Big back yard!
I'll be in and out of town with my own dog so you might see us or some of friends to help you check in! I'm accessible pretty much 24/7 via text/email as I work in the ER. I travel a lot for volunteer projects and therefore I rent out my apartment to help supplement that. This is my HOME, an actual living residence for my dogs and I. Please understand that this is not an extra property I own to make money but that I do in fact actually live here. I recently had a guest who thought they were renting a boutique hotel type home and that is not the case - just an FYI :)
I have lots of great info on things to do for free or cheap in Chicago because my motto is - if it's free, it's for me!
Very close to an AMAZING Cuban cafe. I’m Cuban and it’s legit. Only 1 block and easy to walk to. I usually walk down, grab a coffee and take a stroll around our really nice park! One of the best Thai restaurants in the city is also a block away and definitely worth checking out. A great coffee (with amazing donuts!!) is a very enjoyable 20 min walk. The path leads through one of the nicest and most beautiful neighborhoods in Chicago!
Bus stop is one block away, L is an approximate 15 min walk (or 5 min bus ride) and Grayland Metra is a 5 min walk. I am also just a few minutes off the highway! I would estimate I’m a $20-25 Lyft/Uber ride from Ohare!
