These lovely cottages (refs 16995 and 23420) adjoin the owner’s 17th-century farmhouse, which is located in the hamlet of Tregatta just a short distance from mystical Tintagel, in an AONB. They are surrounded by historic fishing villages, beautiful beaches and open countryside as well as a fine selection of restaurants, pubs and shops and the famous ruins of King Arthur’s castle (Camelot). Atlantic Cottage (ref 16995) has a large lawned garden at the front and Orchard Cottage (ref 23420) boasts a large orchard garden, both equipped with table, chairs and BBQ. There are panoramic views over open fields and sea views from parking area. Sandy beaches are within a few minutes’ drive and close by are the picturesque villages of Boscastle to the north and Port Isaac, made famous by the TV series ’Doc Martin’. Polzeath, Rock and Padstow, home to Rick Stein’s famous seafood restaurant are to the south. This is a great location for exploring all of Cornwall including the Eden Project, and some of the stunning gardens on the south coast. For the more adventurous, why not try the cycle trails at Cardinham Woods (blue and red runs) or hire a bicycle and cycle along the Camel Trail or walk the excellent coastal paths with stunning views, all with in easy reach.
