About Eileen Pharo
My husband is a retired police officer, our daughter is 16 years old and very involved in 4-H and FFA and I am an elementary school teacher. We moved to Sonoma 17 years ago to be closer to family. We love the area and the people. There is never a dull moment and we are very close to San Francisco if you want something more. We enjoy our animals and gardens, and grow /produce a large portion of what we eat.
Eileen Pharo purchased this Apartment in 1999
Why Eileen Pharo chose Sonoma
We camp often, and also do home exchanges and enjoy seeing different parts of the world.
What makes this Apartment unique
The peace and quiet. We are off the beaten path, so we get very little traffic. It is a great place to unwind and relax. We are located on the most popular bike route in the Sonoma/Napa area. Picking broccoli one minute and eating it ten minutes later is pretty cool. People say our eggs are the best they have ever had. We walk, ride our horses and bikes all around the neighborhood. It is very calming here. It is well located for trips to both Napa (fifteen minutes) and Sonoma (ten minutes). We are fortunate to be about a quarter of a mile, a short walk, away from Fremont Diner, Carneros Brewery and Homewood Winery.

Perfect end to a busy tour
This was an ideal relaxing end to a very hectic 3 week tour. Lovely to wake to the distant sound of chickens instead of traffic. A little cramped for our family of 3 with all our luggage and camping equipment, but would be perfect for a couple. Sonoma is just a short drive away with plenty of dining options, and definitely worth a leisurely visit. Sonoma also has a good supermarket.
Stayed to Attend a Wedding
We stayed two nights to attend a rehearsal dinner and a wedding in Sonoma. Being so busy we didn't get to stay at the property much besides sleeping but everything there was great. You are out in the country but we had no problem grabbing ride shares to get to and from our events. Best of both worlds.
The farm fresh eggs were a nice touch.
Perfect farm stay
We had a wonderful experience. Everything was easy and as described. Perfect place to be if you’re looking for a quiet farm stay in Napa that is close to anywhere you would want to go.
4th of July weekend
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Will be back!
A Little Patch of Heaven
Eileen and Rich were wonderful hosts..loved waking up to roosters and fresh eggs for breakfast..perfect location for visiting Napa and Sonoma...accomodations clean and cozy. Highly recommend!
Great place in the middle of wine country!
This was a great find. The place was perfect for our weekend in Sonoma. A few wineries are within walking distance. Communication with our host was outstanding. Thank you so much!
While Sonoma is a lovely town with a variety of wonderful activities, we highly encourage all that visit this area to take advantage of the proximity to Point Reyes National Seashore. The scenery is spectacular and on a given day you can view falcons, eagles, elephant seals , fox, Tule Elk, deer, whales, seals, coyotes and even river otters!
