About Adrian & Karen Waterhouse

We are Yorkshire' born and bred'! And live on a farm in the lower Wharfedale Valley. Our family business is predominantly forestry and tree surgery, so we are very fortunate to be surrounded by such a wonderful rural landscape. Both Adrian and myself are very much outdoor people and appreciate the beauty of nature. With enjoy every type of outdoor adventure on our doorstep, and we look forward to a new challenge every day. We're glad to share our idyllic location with our guests and hope that they will take lots of good memories back home. Mill Fosse Cottage is an ideal base for exploring the great outdoors. Walking, fishing, cycling and bird watching are some of our visitors' favourite pastimes. As well as reading a good book on an evening by the cosy log burning stove!

Why not explore the home of Beatrix Potter and Wordsworth while visiting the Lakes. Then back to the Cottage for some well earned rest and relaxation!
