KITCHEN - There is a well-equipped kitchen, complete with new stainless steel appliances, a drip-style coffee maker and K-cup machine, plenty of cookware for those big meals, and more than enough dinnerware and utensils for the whole group. The refrigerator and dishwasher are large capacity models to handle all of the food and dirty dishes. For convenience, there are 2 microwaves!

DINING - The dining table seats 10-12 people and more at the counter seats. This area has a large picture window with a gorgeous view of Mt. LeConte.

LIVING ROOM - In the living area, there are 3 sofas, large Samsung HDTV, and a stacked-stone fireplace (open Oct 1 - Mar 31). Step out the French doors onto the upper deck and relax on one of the sofas or chairs with an amazing mountain vista.

DECKS - We recently completed the installation of 2 new polywood decks on the rear of MOUNTAINVIEW MAJESTY, enhancing the mountain views and enlarging the deck area. A new, state-of-the-art hot tub that seats 7, and new flooring being laid in the home are just some of the wonderful upgrades you will find at MOUNTAINVIEW MAJESTY. Updated photos are coming soon!

INTERNET - Get some work done or attend online school while visiting! The main level has a desk for work and our high-speed Internet service with the latest mesh Wi-Fi technology lets many devices be online without interference.

We use a digital Guidebook to provide information about MOUNTAINVIEW MAJESTY, its amenities, and the local area. It will also include your door code and directions. An invitation to a personalized version of the Guidebook will be sent after booking is completed.

Experience nature's beauty from the comfortable seating on the main level deck with views of Mt. LeConte, or the lower deck from the hot tub. Nestled in the picturesque Smoky Mountains, MOUNTAINVIEW MAJESTY is vacation heaven. Whether you visit in the spring when the dogwoods bloom beautifully, in summer when the mountains are green and breezes blow refreshingly, in fall when foliage colors change spectacularly, or in winter when the occasional covering of pristine snow decorates the area and upper portions of Mt. LeConte, it is amazing.

Unwind in the living room on a couch in front of the large flat-screen TV. Use the rock-faced fireplace on cooler evenings during the fireplace season! Then, go down to the game room to play a round of pool or foosball, perhaps challenge others to a duel of Galaga or Donkey Kong on the multigame video arcade system.

After completing the reservation here, you'll receive a confirmation from Remarkable Vacation Rentals (Vicki & Chuck), with a link to complete your booking on our secure website within 24-48 hours) or you may lose your booking). If you do not see the message within 30 minutes, check your junk mail folder.

— RULES/POLICIES —

* No smoking of any kind.
* No animals are permitted at any time.
* No events or parties - only registered guests allowed.
* Fireplace is open Oct 1-March 31. We do not provide firewood.
* Maximum of 5 vehicles -- no exceptions. The Gatlinburg Welcome Center is the ONLY place in the area that allows overnight parking - it is free.

▶︎ Check-in time is 4pm or later and check-out time is 10am or earlier. Failure to depart by check-out time will result in a penalty as stipulated in the renter agreement. We are unable to accommodate requests for early arrival, late checkout, or luggage drop-off.

The region is still very much "the untamed mountains", so wildlife and insects are pervasive. This is especially true of ladybugs, a beneficial and protected species here, and their look-alike cousins, the Asian Beetle. We take every precaution and employ a monthly pest prevention program with a licensed exterminator. Despite that, you may still encounter them and other small insects or critters in or around the home.

Bear activity tends to be high around MOUNTAINVIEW MAJESTY. Guests are thrilled to see them in the wild. But, don't mistake them for being tame; never approach a bear (it is illegal) and be sure to not do anything to attract them! Definitely do not leave out trash or food -- especially in your vehicles. They CAN smell it and WILL try to get it -- causing damage.

⏤ WHAT WE PROVIDE ⏤

We provide linens, pillows, comforters, washcloths, and towels for your stay.

The Kitchen is well-stocked with the things needed to cook for a large group; cookware, dishes, mugs, glasses, flatware, etc., and we provide a starter set of supplies.

This list of products is not intended to last your entire stay, but is just to get you started. These include:
- 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom
- 1 cleansing bar per bathroom
- 1 travel size shampoo per bathroom
- 1 roll of paper towels
- 1 dish sponge
- 2 dishwasher pods
- 1 small bottle of liquid dish soap
- 1 single use laundry detergent
- 2 trash bags per trash can

— POOLS, POOLS, & MORE POOLS —

You have use of 2 passes for your group to access the 3 clubhouses w/outdoor pools and other recreational facilities of the Chalet Village Owners Club. One pass is good for the entire group, but at times groups may want to split up. The passes can also be used for discounts at restaurants and attractions across Gatlinburg. Note that there is a $80 per card replacement fee if not returned at the end of your stay.

The pool season runs from Friday of Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, depending on weather and demand. There are no lifeguards on duty, only pool attendants. Swim at your own risk. You can contact the Chalet Village Owners Club office to confirm status and hours. (Contact info in digital guidebook)

Clubhouses offer free Wi-Fi access, changing rooms, showers (bring your own pool towels, *NOT* our bath towels please), and have drink machines and/or concessions. Some have meeting and banquet rooms for rent.
