Aloha Jeana and Justin,
We just wanted to thank you again for our time at Hale Ho'omana Retreat... it was a great blessing for us and an extraordinary beginning to our pilgrimage and time with Ram Dass.
May you be richly blessed as you offer your hospitality to the world!

We split our Maui trip into two parts. This was the upcountry part. Ho'omana B&B was a great place to stay while exploring cowboy country. From here we did Sunrise at Haleakala and the Road to Hana. (Kudos to Temptation Tours for those.) We also explored as far as Maui Winery on our own. The North shore is also handy from here. Makawao has a thriving art scene as well as plenty of places to eat.
Lehua Cottage itself is clean and comfortable. All was as advertised. I would recommend a flashlight for going to and from your car at night. It is a short but dark walk.
Over all we are pleased and recommend Ho'omana highly. I would not want this to be my only Maui experience but it was great for this part of it.
This was one of our favorite places we stayed at while we were in Hawaii! The apartment is clean, quiet, and comfortable and has pretty much everything you need in a 'home away from home' setting. The property is beautiful, private and peaceful. The fresh fruit was amazing! We felt very spoiled to have stayed in such a wonderful studio apartment at such a fair price. I highly recommend the spa services too!!! We treated ourselves to the luxurious couples retreat and OMG how magnificent! We were so relaxed we were practically floating when our little retreat was over. We would come back here in a heartbeat!
Tranquil setting away from the traffic and tourists but easy access to everything. The cabin is very well equipped and with a two burner hot plate and gas BBQ you can cook pretty much anything you want. Stocked with fruit, tea, coffee, juices and breakfast bars and Danish pastries. Beach towels, snorkel gear and chairs there to use. Definitely good value
We found the room very clean with lot of the things you need or forgot to bring. Plenty of fruit and pastry daily. Very large comfortable bed. The owners were kind enough to pick us up at the airport when our car rental had a mix up and no car was available. They also took us back to the airport the next day after the car rental called to say they now had a vehicle available. We enjoyed the rental property grounds and found it convenient to the spa which was next door. We liked the less crowded area and were able to drive to the heavy tourist areas we wanted to see. You will be well taken care of at this establishment!
This lovely studio apppartment is located on the slopes of Mount Haleakala. One travels up a winding road amidst the lush forests of Maui. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The room has a small but adequate kitchen. We cooked all breakfasts and many suppers here. Fresh fruit, juice, instant porridge, coffee, tea and croissants were provided. It is a very quiet area away from the rush of the towns but in easy driving distance of the coast. A very nice place for our 12 night stay.
Easy to find, surrounded by trees. Comfortable studio with all you could need. Only come is that there is no seating other than dining chairs. A small sofa/ easy chair would make the difference.
Located Close to Makawao Forest Reserve, Pi'iholo Ranch and Pi'iholo Zipline.
