Maison de la Tour is a 17th century town house in the oldest part of Antibes which is also a quiet pedestrian area. It has been fully renovated combining Provençal charm with all modern amenities.
It is the perfect base to explore the Cote d'Azur, just relax and/or prepare wonderful meals throughout the year. This unique and spacious house with its private en-suite bathrooms suits couples or families with children.
This 3 floor town house is situated in a lovely pedestrian area, just behind Porte de l'Orme, one of the ancient city gates in the oldest part of Antibes, a stone throw from the covered Provençal market, the Picasso museum, the harbor, the sea and of course, many excellent local restaurants and shops. The closest public beach is just 2 minutes walk away.
From the exceptional sun kissed roof terrace, you will be able to enjoy a 360 degree view over Vieil Antibes, the sea , the mountains and even Nice and Cap Ferrat. The stylish lounge/dining area, which comfortably sits 6, has wonderful dim-able lighting for the evening and a large parasol to protect you from the sun during the hotter hours of the day. It is the perfect place to have breakfast, dine or just relax after a day on the beach. The large Weber gas barbecue (E320 Classic) allows you to have nice grill parties "with a view".
Maison de la Tour retains many period features like white-washed wooden ceilings and beams, oak doors, terracotta and traditionally painted cement tiles. One of the rooms even has a vaulted ceiling and a working, antique wood burning fire place.
Each of the double bedrooms (chambre des drapeaux has 2 twin beds 90x200, chambre des rames has a brass king-size bed 160x200 and chambre de l'ancre has a brass super king-size bed 180-200) has its own stylish bathroom (2 with large shower cabins and one with a bathtub/shower) with retro, chrome fittings. The finest Egyptian cotton linen and high quality towels, including beach towels, have been chosen for your comfort. Each of them also has a flat screen TV, a DVD player (multi-regional), Apple TV and a subscription to Netflix. Wifi is available throughout the house including the roof terrace.
The large modern living kitchen/dining room is situated on the 3rd floor, just below the roof terrace. It has been equipped with every gadget an amateur chef needs to prepare a perfect meal with local delicacies bought in the nearby Provençal market. It also includes 2 large fridges, one of them a Liebherr with an ice maker to ensure that you can enjoy properly chilled drinks.

Personally , when I first saw the house, I fell in love with the roof terrace from which one has a wonderful view over the old town, the sea and the mountains. To me it is a truly amazing place to relax and/or dine.
The property is even better than described. We were 3 couples and there was plenty of room for all of us with the 3 bedrooms and en suites. The location can not be beat and Ivan was a wonderful resource and manager. We will definitely be going back. Yes...there are stairs...and the roof top patio is worth every step. We cannot say enough about this wonderful property. Thank you Ivan for sharing your home with us.
La Maison de la Tour is even more beautiful in reality than in the photos. Its location in the old town is perfect - everything you need is close by and yet it is quiet. My sister and I enjoyed being so close to the beach for an early morning dip before breakfast at a great coffee shop. We also enjoyed shopping each day at the wonderful provencal market and local shops such as the boulangerie. We fell in love with La Maison and with Antibes. It was particularly hot for September so we enjoyed the comfort and luxury of all the facilities in la Maison. We loved the wonderful roof terrace especially in the balmy evenings. We enjoyed preparing meals using the local produce and of course there are good restaurants nearby as well.
Ivan was lovely to deal with and to meet. He was so welcoming friendly and thoughtful - nothing was too much trouble. Thank you very much Ivan for everything - we can't wait to return....
Impeccably done. Wonderful beds and linens. Lots of privacy with having a bedroom and bath on individual floors. Only drawback is so many stairs,
We stayed at Maison de la Tour with friends in Sept 2016. The house has everything you could expect plus more. From comfortable beds with crisp clean linen to a fully equipped kitchen. The roof top balcony is an ideal place to sit and relax with a glass of wine and take in the great views over the old town and the sea. The house is ideally placed for all the old town restuarents and cafes as well as the beach and harbour. Ivan the owner could not have been more helpfull from recommending restaurants to providing great little touches on your arrival like a few cold beers and bottle of wine in the fridge and some french pastries and two small jars of his home made jam. ' 'Great touches' Ivan is clearly passionate about providing great service and it shows. We would recommend the house to everyone.

The house was perfect in every way ,Ivan has thought of everything to make a wonderful holiday. The little personal touches were really appreciated by the 4 of us, especially the home made jam and pastries. Ivan recommended some excellent restaurants especially The Comptoir and Mamalous. He is very professional, funny and has a great sense of humour. It is in a perfect location and we would certainly recommend it. We hope to return next year. Thanks Ivan for letting us share your beautiful house.
Our stay at Maison de la Tour was absolutely perfect in every way. From the moment we arrived & were met by our charming host, Ivan, we knew it was going to be a very special holiday. He was so friendly and welcoming and a mine of information on restaurants and attractions that were not so touristy. Nothing was too much trouble! The townhouse is superbly renovated & decorated with an eclectic mix of new and old treasures and an incredible attention to detail. It is spacious, light & allows privacy with each bedroom located on a different level. The rooftop terrace is divine with an incredible 360' view of gorgeous Antibes. The townhouse is located in the most amazing part of the old town, with the famous open market almost at your doorstep and everything within walking distance. We loved everything about our stay and can't wait to return. Thank you.
