Nicely maintained cabin in heart of Interlochen area.

George was a wonderful host and his home was well kept and comfortable. Appreciated that the kitchen basics were already stocked! Ideally located for visiting Interlochen.

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The owner prompt with answers. Location is great. Good beds.

We needed to be close to Interlochen School and we were. The cottage was quite comfortable and roomy. I neglected to pay attention to what was included and it is not air conditioned. We happened to hit a hot spell. However there were fans in every room and it did cool off at night. We had a very good time and it was well equipped.

Lovely place!

  • 5 of 5

This is a beautiful little cottage in a small village only a short drive from Traverse City. Clean, cozy and very home-like. The kitchen is well stocked with basic utensils and necessities. The property is beautiful as well; lots of wildflowers, perennials and wildlife to observe while drinking a cup of coffee outside in the morning. George is a great host and fun to talk to. If we come back up to the area in the future, we would definitely be willing to stay again. Thank you!

Beautiful home near Interlochen Arts Academy

  • 5 of 5

The home is decorated with memorabilia from the musical heritage of the surrounding area. We found the items and photographs fascinating. Also, we were well entertained by the thoughtfully provided library of books to please all interests. A supply of travel information, maps, and restaurant menus are provided. We enjoyed two local restaurants recommended by the owner, and we found the local supermarket he recommended to be modern, clean, and well stocked.

The home is within a 45 minute scenic drive to Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore on Lake Michigan where the dunes are stunning. Don't miss this!

We enjoyed our stay and our friendly interactions with Mr. Robinson who is a charming host.

We would be happy to stay at this home again, and we recommend it very highly.

Thank you so much, Mr. Robinson, for a wonderful experience.

Sincerely,

The Zumchak family

Perfect Home - Close to Interlochen Arts Academy

  • 5 of 5

Our family stayed at this lovely home to attend our daughter/granddaughter's graduation from Interlochen Arts Academy. It fit our needs perfectly.

Located one mile south of the Interlochen campus, the property is a spotlessly clean and well equipped home in a private setting with lovely landscaping, meadow, and woodland. This is a perfect, tranquil retreat.

The friendly and helpful owner has thoughtfully provided every amenity in kitchen, bath, and linen supply. Washer and dryer are provided.

Plesant Retreat

  • 5 of 5

This is a charming house fittingly in a place filled with natural and artistic beauty. The house itself, besides providing comfortable lodging, is a mini museum, with photos and memorabilia displays reminding us that we are in a place where art lives here, and has lived here for quite some time. We had everything needed to stay for the nights comfortably and conveniently, but it was the simple but artfully designed interior setting, the refreshing and pleasant garden, the proximity to the Interlochen campus, that brought us the wholesome experience. We had a wonderful and memorable time here, and will come back if have an opportunity.
