Guest Access: During your stay you will have access to the entire apartment and the shared courtyard. There is a parking lot in front of the complex - there is a space reserved for the apartment.

Guest Interaction: I like you to feel comfortable in the space, as if it was your own. I provide thorough directions and lots of communication. Throughout your stay, I am only ever a message or phone call away. I'm always happy to provide recommendations, advice, or anything else that may come up during your stay. If we are not available, we have assistant available.

Other things to note: Old building - although this apartment has been remodeled there are many quirks that come along with trying to preserve a historic building. For example, most of the brick flooring is original but you will see in places that the owners had to replace with newer bricks as the old ones crumble, if you come across any that need attention please let me know.

Security Camera installed outside (this is the only camera) - we use this to monitor guest count and for security purposes.

Brick flooring may be cold on bare feet, bring slippers

Large Garbage container located behind the complex

Possibility for noise - apartments are part of an 8plex. This apartment is on the bottom floor with another apartment above. Typical neighbor noise is expected as with any apartment living.

Low Flow Toilets - do not flush anything other than small amounts of toilet paper

Air conditioner - please do not run temp lower than 70 degrees Fahrenheit. The compressor can easily freeze causing damage or HOT air to blow in.

The complex is regularly treated with non-toxic pest repellent. Still, this property is located in a historic neighborhood in the desert. Bugs are a part of life here in the southwest. While we make every effort to stay on top of pest control and keep the apartments spotless for guests, we cannot completely control nature and therefore you may see the occasional bug. Please be aware of this and make sure you're ok with the possibility before booking.

Parking space is available as directed in the check-in guide. We are not responsible for tickets issued, cars towed/booted or any damage to guest’s vehicles while at the parking lot whether from casualty or negligent or intentional wrongful acts of other guests or third parties. Guest waives any and all claims, damages, and/or causes of action for personal injury or property damage against us (the host) and the parking company for use of the parking lot. We are not responsible for any articles left in vehicles.

Gorgeous place but noisy
Lovely super clean unit in complex (adobe style). unit expansive with a kitchen large enough for 2 wheelchairs (we are partially disabled, not in wheelchairs but walk with canes; place would be good for people in wheelchairs.) Found unit after typing "disabled access" into filters. 2 large lovely bedrooms with comfy (firm) California King beds. Adjoining bathroom (shower only) in one; bathroom (shower) close to 2nd bedroom.. Difficult to shower; narrow & have balance issues due to inner ear damage from chemo & chemo-induced neuropathy. LOVE the book themed decor. Close to Old Towne for people with no disabilities. But we did walk, stopping twice to rest feet. Old Town louder than used to be (Parents have lived in ALBQ since 1988 so visited Old Towne often). trucks with noise enhancing exhaust systems but went up onto balcony of old hotel brew Pub & enjoyed sunset. Beautiful church (locked, can't get in) Difficult to find at night. Stopped at Little Anita's & server could not figure out google map & she is native ALBQ resident. Called owner, she helped us get there. One block away from L Anita. One day, we & 94 year old mother locked in (outer safety door). Worker came by & spoke to owner on phone. She said "Turn the lock" Didn't work. Worker told her "needs graphite." She instructed him to open lock box, get key & let us out. Prone to panic attacks. Bad one after 20 min. locked in. Construction noise. But lovely unit

Great location for Old Town ABQ
If you are interested in exploring Old Town Albuquerque, this is a great place to stay. Old town is right across the street. There are many gift shops and good restaurants that you can easily walk to. …. Also a great location for all that Albuquerque and the surrounding area has to offer. The condominium has a great layout and is comfortable after a long day of whatever you decide to do!

UNM Homecoming
The two bedroom and two bath unit was perfect for my wife, myself and my Mother. It was on the bottom floor and it was easy for my Mom. The parking was great to have right in the front of the unit. It was very easy to walk and enjoy Old Town. It was also a short drive to UNM for the family weekend with our daughter. It had everything we needed for our short stay and check in and check out was very simple.

Worked for our needs
We stayed at this apartment for one day while preparing for a flight home. The beds were very comfortable. There was a strong smell of cleaner that we could not clear out of the space even with running fans and opening all the windows. Otherwise it suited our needs well.
