Turtle Lake Cabin Rental Photos and Description

Cabin, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4)

Our “Knotty Pine” is a cozy, quaint cabin located approximately 4 miles from Turtle Lake, WI and approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes from the Twin City area. It is nestled on a wooden lot on the shores of Upper Turtle Lake.

The cabin includes two bedrooms, living room, dining area, kitchen and full bath (shower). It will sleep four comfortably. Inside the cabin is a fieldstone wood burning fireplace. You have access to a private dock and a patio with a fire pit. The front deck is furnished with chairs and end tables for relaxing, etc. and has a gas grille for outdoor cooking. There is a small back deck that can also be used as a quiet and relaxing area.

Turtle Lake is 458 acres and is ideal for water skiing, fishing, boating and swimming.

There are several excellent restaurants and golf courses within a short distance of the cabin. Turtle Lake Casino is located about four miles from the cabin. The Barron County Historical Museum is located about ten miles from the cabin and offers a stroll through an early pioneer village. Blazer’s Cheese House is located in Comstock and offers an excellent variety of cheese, pastas and gifts with an Italian flair and is just a short drive from the cabin. The town of Cumberland is ideal for shopping in antique and gift shops and experiencing the “small town” friendliness.

Deposit - $100; Pet deposit - $100.

Come and enjoy our lake home and share in the wonderful memories that we have experienced.

A perfect spot for a quiet get-away.

My husband and I and our little dog just returned from a week at the cabin. Everything was in order when we arrived. My husband was happy to have sharp knives. There were so many thoughtful details. We spent many hours on the dock in the chaise lounges with coffee and books in the morning and adult beverages in the evening. The deck was another prime location. I'm still feeling the after effects of deep relaxation.

Anniversary get away

The pictures don't do this place justice. It was very cozy, modern, and comfortable. The private pier was great for laying in the sun and fishing. Very quiet area, perfect for a weekend getaway.

we loved it!

  • 5 of 5

My husband, 2 yr old, & I stayed for 4 nights. We absolutely loved the Knotty pine cabin. It is so comfortable & has all you need to cook inside & on the gas grill. We loved the fire place. There are 3 outside sitting areas to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We mostly enjoyed the dock and sitting around the fire pit. We had several family members come to a bbq & they all fell in love with the cabin & lake. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

5 YR Anniversary

  • 4 of 5

My wife and I always travel to a B&B or a rent a house / cabin for our anniversaries. The pictures are spot on, down to every detail. The lake is fantastic; there were young families on their boats pulling their kids on tubes (also there were grandparents boating with their grandkids). Everyone that was on the water was friendly and waived when my wife and I were sitting on the dock. I would recommend if you like being on the water to rent a small pontoon or jet boat. There was a small row boat that the owner has available but with a 3 month old it was not practical for us (NO blame to the owner). My wife and I have two small dogs and they loved it. A few of the surrounding neighbors had dogs (friendly) and would jump into the lake for a swim, fun to watch. Overall great rental, if you need to get away for a weekend or a month this is the spot. Property was clean, a lot of spider webs around the cabin but you are in the woods. The owner was very helpful with any questions.

Everything promised and more!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I just spent 3 nights at this quiet, cozy little cabin. We just loved it. It was as nice as the pictures represent but what you can't see in the pictures is how comfortable and "at home" you will feel the moment you arrive. It has everything you need and even a few things you forgot to pack. (Thankful I did not need to go buy a blow dryer) I loved sitting on the deck in the morning with my coffee overlooking the lake. One chilly evening we enjoyed a fire in the fire pit. Private, quiet and secluded setting! Super nice weekend-we will be planning another trip soon!
