Well equipped historic property
Charming cottage with plenty of space in a beautiful village with lots of walks, suited us for visiting the dales and catching up with family in the area. Peaceful garden for a glass of wine in the evening
Great cottage and village - just a shame about the weather!
Homely, well kept and well equipped cottage
Quirky cottage lovely back view
This property was quirky and unusual with puppets hanging from the ceiling which we thought was a little strange and quirky. Wouldn’t suit people with physical issues. It was well stocked and it was nice touch with biscuits and and everything needed, including dish wash tablets tea, coffee. This was a good job as the nearest pub was shut for refurbishment... we didn’t know this. And the other pub was a long walk and when we got there refused to serve food. Overall the cottage was a lovely but location not for us.
Four adults and two young children stayed for one week. Delightful cottage - bigger than photos suggest, really well equipped kitchen, plenty of hot water & towels, lots of books & toys & DVDs, reliable broadband, comfortable beds, warm & cosy. Great communication with owner. Parking for two cars was never an issue. Lovely village - used the pub, the park, the cafe, the shop. A variety of great walks from the village. Highly recommended.
Thanks for the review and lovely comments, glad you found the cottage well equipped and the local amenities useful, especially the pubs and the Café! I should get a wide angle lens for my photos to make the rooms look bigger!
