The Village Apartment is a fabulous first floor, spacious 2 bedroom apartment situated above a high class ladies boutique in the centre of Alverstoke Village in the southern coastal town of Gosport, England. Situated next to The Village Home Pub and only a short walk to Stokes Bay beach where you can sit and look over The Solent's waters to the Isle of Wight the apartment has a modern, clean, light, contemporary feel within a friendly village environment.

The apartment has recently been refurbished and refurnished to a very good 4* star standard with new kitchen, bathroom and en suite and is only a 5 minute drive from Gosport town centre which is then only a short 5 minute ferry ride to Portsmouth and Gunwharf Quays with great transport links directly to London, The Isle of Wight, France and beyond.

The apartment has 2 double bedrooms (one en-suite), a main bathroom off the entrance hallway and a large open plan lounge/diner/kitchen plus a small, side open air patio area.

The main lounge/dining/kitchen area is modern and contemporary with laminated flooring and 4 picture windows looking down through the Village and is well furnished with a superior quality John Lewis bed chair and comfortable large corner sofa bed with both converting to create additional sleeping for additional guests if required, plus dining for up to 6 people, a large flat screen wall mounted TV, DVD player and music/I-Pod docking system.

The open plan kitchen is very well fitted with clean modern shaker style units, practical laminate flooring, modern worktops, a large vintage style Smeg fridge/freezer, integrated washing machine, stainless steel oven/hob/extractor hood, microwave, cafetiere and all other mod cons etc.

The master bedroom is off the entrance hallway accommodating a large 5ft kingsize double bed which can split to create 2 singles, a large modern mirrored door built in wardrobe, plus an walk in en-suite with corner shower, toilet, wash hand basin, tall towel rail and warm under foot Karndean tiling to the floor.

The second bedroom accommodates another large 5ft kingsize double bed which can spilt to create 2 singles, a modern mirrored door built in wardrobe, south facing patio doors and Juliet balcony with both bedrooms having fresh, crisp white cotton linen.

Off the main entrance hallway is a small privately screened, west facing patio area where you can step out onto to enjoy a glass of wine when the weather is nice.

The main high spec bathroom has a bath with shower over, toilet, wash hand basin, a tall towel rail and Kardean flooring. Crisp white towels are provided for each guest and are laid out on beds prior to your arrival.

Our prices are for up to 4 people over 2 bedrooms in large king size beds that can split to create singles plus we can accommodate 1 or 2 additional guests if required within the lounge on a superior quality John Lewis bed chair or a large corner bed settee. Additional guests over 4 are charged at a rate of £25 per week/part week, per head, or we charge £25 per set of extra linen requested.

The property is fully self catering but catered options are available on request and with local pubs and restaurants serving good food within a 5 minute walk you have a great choice to eat in or out. Gunwharf Quays also has over 30 waterfront cafes/bars/bistros and restaurants sat right on the quayside on the harbour mouth where you can sit and watch the comings and goings on in the harbour and if you wish to stay on late there is a late night ferry to bring you home.
