Isla Plana Villa Rental Photos and Description

This new private villa is situated in the Spanish village of Isla Plana on the Mediterranean coast of south-eastern Spain. In the busiest season, it gets very lively but still maintains the advantage of not being overcrowded. Though being a small village, Isla Plana has most of the essential amenities viz. a supermarket, a bank with an ATM, a bakery, cafes and restaurants, tobacco shop, a fishmonger, a newsagent, a DIY shop and a Pharmacy. All these amenities are within walking distance from the villa. 8 minutes to the nearest beach, within 15 minutes to the village shops, supermarket and restaurants. Wider, sandy beaches are to be found in less than a 10 minute drive away in the port (Puerto) of Mazarron.

The villa offers splendid sea and mountain views from the terrace & rooftop solarium. The garden with the private pool is south-east facing ensuring plenty of sun for the most part of the day. If it gets too sunny, one can retreat to the adjoining shady terrace fitted out with remote controlled ceiling fans. The walled-in solarium ensures privacy for sun-bathing or for simply relaxing and taking in the panoramic sea and mountain views. Evenings on the solarium are particularly pleasant where one can enjoy the evening breeze and the sights of the lighted, glittering coastline of the neighbouring village of La Azohia; just simply relaxing with the melodious sounds of the waves while sipping a glass of wine to end the day.

The villa has 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms on the ground floor (one of which is en-suite) and a self-contained one-bedroom (en-suite) apartment on the first floor. The living/dining areas and all bedrooms have individually controlled air-conditioning units. It is fully equipped with modern electrical appliances - WLAN, 3xTV units. (2 Smart TVs) offering British, German, Spanish & other international programs), a DVD player & HiFi. Fully equipped kitchen containing fridge/freezer, coffee machine, toaster, ceran-cooker, oven, microwave, electric mixer, etc. Private pool with external shower/WC & BBQ area. Regardless of the weather, the terrace offers the possibility of al fresco dining anytime. Off-road parking with remote controlled electric gate.

Isla Plana is a typical Spanish resort and being small it can be unfairly overlooked except for the Spanish folk who know a good place when they see it. As you would expect, July and August though being the busiest vacation season Isla Plana offers the advantage that it is still lively but not overcrowded. The sea front in Isla Plana has been refurbished, giving a modern but still Spanish feel, sit on the terrace of the local bar and enjoy a drink whilst watching the sun set over the sea. With its beaches on the one hand and mountains in the opposite direction it has quite a bit to offer. It is a small coastal village with the neighbouring coasts of La Azohia, Puerto de Mazarron and Bolneuvo, all of which having their individual charm and history. Puerto de Mazarron boasts a marina and includes numerous restaurants offering local and international cuisine. Beginning from La Azohia, the area boasts over 35 Km of unspoilt coastline, made up of small inlets, coves and sandy beaches. The waters are wonderfully unpolluted and perfect for aqua activities, with clear views of Mediterranean flora and fauna such as sea bass, moray and moonfish.
