About Amanda Woolf

Since buying Redferns in 2009, my husband & I have spent most of our time completely renovating our main family home and detached Annexe. We love living in this peaceful location & originally planned for our family & friends to enjoy staying in the annexe, but we soon realised that it would make a superb holiday cottage.

Our guests can feel free to relax & enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the annexe garden, or venture out to some of the many attractions of East Anglia. We welcome you to this lovely area & are on hand if you need us, but we'll leave you to enjoy your much-deserved holiday!

Beautiful property

  • 5 of 5

We (2 adults & 2 children) stayed at Redferns for one month prior to emigrating to Australia. The annexe is modern, clean and finished to a high spec. It also has everything you would need, the owner Amanda has put a lot of thought into kitting out this property. Amanda really looked after us during our stay and would see to anything we needed promptly.

The grounds are beautiful with lots of open space around the annexe. Our children loved running around playing outside, and spotting the local squirrels. We all really enjoyed our stay at the annexe, much more than we thought we would and it certainly helped with our transition moving to Australia. Our family and friends who visited us were also very impressed with the property and grounds. We'd recommend Redferns to anyone and we will definitely return one day when we come back to England for a holiday. Thanks again Amanda for making us feel so welcome and at home😊

The owner was incredibly welcoming and the holiday home is delightful. Everything is new and very clean and nicely looked after.

It had everything we could have thought of / needed and perfect for a family of 4 to stay in.

We'll definitely be coming back when we're staying in Ipswich again.

Stayed here with my fiancé uncle and his mate. We were welcomed by owner on arrival with key and showed us about the annexe. The whole land was amazing. And annexe was beautiful. Will definitely be back.

A lovely, well appointed, secure and comfortable property

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the cottage for a week in early April. I was with my wife and two daughters. The owner, Amanda, met us on arrival and was charming and helpful. The cottage is clean, well decorated, well appointed and comfortable. We were happy there and would recommend it.

Excellent accomodation

  • 5 of 5

The accommodation was very spacious and well furnished. It is a new build with excellent facilities. Very hospitable host (Amanda), who ensured we had a relaxing and wonderful stay. The house is child friendly with a lot of outside space which is safe and secure for the child to run around. Would love to stay again.
