Perfect for exploring new forest and the surrounding area. We had a lovely long weekend and our dog had an amazing time.
Stunning! Cosy! Just perfect!
We had a wonderful 4 night stay here in this beautiful cosy cottage, we loved the log fire in the evening too! Heather and Dennis our hosts where very welcoming and have created a beautiful setting for your stay! We ventured into the new forest, Hendgistbury Head and Bournemouth, all of which was nominal travel time! Be sure to check out the deer at Boulderwood, a fantastic sight! We will definitely be back!
Thank you for lovely comments. Great guests. Look forward to seeing you again.
Fabulous little cottage
What a fabulous little cottage , home from home comforts, lovely wood burning stove which we loved. Welcome gift of wine , cakes and flowers on arrival which was a nice surprise. The cottage was clean and comfortable , very light and airy. We had a lovely relaxing break and will definatley be returning again. Thank you to Heather and Dennis for having us.

Such a cosy and welcoming little cottage well situated for exploring the surrounding countryside.
Really enjoyed our stay here. Heather and Dennis have made this cottage very welcoming for their guests. Well equipped kitchen area, comfortable living and dining facilities and the bedroom is just beautiful. The ideal spot for getting away from it all.
Highly recommended, good size for couples and plenty of room for a dog.
A lovely welcome by Heather and a gift of muffins, milk, wine and logs for the burner. We also met Dennis who was just as welcoming ..... a really nice couple.
The cottage itself was a really good size and had everything needed during our stay and was also very clean and tidy. There is plenty of parking and outside space, it was also nice to have a secure area where our dog (Ted’s) could be let out with out worrying.
As we were slightly restricted in the evenings with Teds, I would say the only downfall would be the size of the tv but don’t let this put you off as this really is a great place to stay.
There is a pub (Churchill Arms) within walking distance although I would advise hi-vis and torches even if you take the longer route via the streets just for the last part of the walk.
Highly recommend booking this cottage if you’re staying the area.
Thank you Marie for your lovely review. Pleased everything was good for you both and gorgeous ‘Teds’.
