Essex Street Cottage is an immaculate house close to the town sleeping up to 6 adults with the option to have 4 additional children stay - the property has 1 double sofa bed and 2 single chair beds in the attic bedroom which are charged at £15.00 per additional child per stay.

Through the entrance hall you will find a comfortable living room that leads to an open plan kitchen and dining room. This opens up to a relaxing garden for dining outside with a glass of wine in the evenings. The ground floor also has a separate W.C. for guests to use.

On the first floor you will find a spacious master bedroom with double bed as well as a cosy twin bedroom and a bathroom with a shower over the bath.

The attic room consists of a double bed, double sofa bed and two single chair beds (these beds are for children only) and games room with board games and a TV to keep the kids out of mischief on rainy days!

Parking is free on street in front of property.

The town is only a short 5 minute walk and the beach a couple of minutes more. Whitstable has regular buses and trains too.

The charming seaside town of Whitstable is located in the Northeast of Kent. The town is situated approximately five miles north of the city of Canterbury and two miles west of Herne Bay. From the seashore, the town of Whitstable also boasts excellent views of the Isle of Sheppey which is only a short distance away.

One of the main characteristics of the quaint town of Whitstable is the booming oyster business that it has all year round. Oyster harvesting started in the Roman times and is a continued pastime in the town of Whitstable, as well as providing the local bars and restaurants with fresh oysters and other seafood daily, Whitstable also celebrates the importance of oyster to their town with a festival.

Whitstable prides itself on its authentic and slightly bohemian charm which provides guests with a unique and welcoming feel you don’t always find in big cities. Close to Whitstable harbour is the famous Harbour Street which provides guests with pretty shop front, boutiques and restaurants all of which are situated in building that haven’t changed from over a hundred years.

As well as the Oyster Festival and the famous Harbour Street what is there to do in Whitstable you may wonder...but fear not, there is no lack of things to entertain and occupy your time while on your holiday. The Horsebridge Centre puts on a wide variety of events for guests to enjoy from art-house film evening to comedy nights; there is something for everyone to sink their teeth into. The beautiful Whitstable Playhouse still put on a variety of plays and other performances throughout the year, which is perfect for after dinner entertainment. If music and live bands are more your scene then you will not be disappointed as most of Whitstable’s local pubs and bars regularly host live music events such as The Old Neptune, The Duke of Cumberland and The East Kent.
