2-person home on Alvor harbour Free WiFI

Beautifully renovated town house in the middle of the town of Alvor. The house has three floors and was completely renovated in 2013. You walk right into the kitchen from the front door. The Modern , well equipped kitchen has an induction cooker, oven, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, Nespresso coffee maker, etc. On the ground

floor, there is also a 2nd separate toilet and a washer/dryer. The bedroom is on the first floor, where you’ll have a stunning ocean view from your bed. There is an ensuite , with a W.C., shower, and sink. The top floor has a large terrace with 2 patio chairs, a table, 2 sun loungers, and a second double bed which can also be used as a sofa/day bed. There is a 50 inch smart TV mounted on the wall.and the added bonus of unlimited free WiFi .

Alvor itself is a picturesque fishing village with quaint cobbled streets that boast numerous quality bars and restaurants..The 3 mile long sandy beach is only a short walk from the house and so also is the new board walk which allows you to walk round the estuary .

The entire area is a nature reserve popular with walkers , bird watchers and just people who want to relax in beautiful surroundings. If you Google Alvor, you’ll find plenty of photos.

Please be aware when booking flights that there is an out of hours meet and greet fee of €20 for arrivals at Casa do Burro after 7pm and €40 for arrivals after midnight

Notes:
Upon arrival, you’ll be met with a spotless home. You can request extra domestic help during your stay. The property is managed by an English couple who will meet you with the key when you arrive and show you round the house to explain how everything works. They will be available throughout your stay if you need anything. Please be aware when booking flights that there is a out of hours meet and greet fee of €20 for arrivals at Casa do burro after 7pm and €40 after midnight payable to the property manager on arrival PLEASE NOTE. Due to the narrow staircases from the ground floor to the second floor the house is not suitable for very young children or anyone with mobility problems.. Also the access to the second floor where the 3rd person will sleep is via a staircase that passes through the main bedroom. There are no bathroom facilities on the second floor. The main bathroom is ensuite in the master bedroom and there is a toilet with washbasin on the ground floor off the kitchen.

Warm, Friendly and Welcoming Alvor!

Our stay was one of our best over 4 weeks in Portugal and Spain. The townhouse provided a spectacular setting in a fishing village that has not yet succumbed to the pressures of over development. It was small, accessible, quant, very scenic with everything you need within easy walking distance. The spiral staircase has to be maneuvered cautiously, but the view from the bedroom and deck is well worth it. Our only nitpicks were having to deep clean the Nespresso milk unit and the neighbourhood dog's barking. We will definitely be back though!! Helen was a wonderful hostess!

Magical view, beautiful home

This is our fourth time on alvor, and this is by far the best place we have stayed, the view and location could not be any better, we will definitely be back.

Perfect house in great location for holiday in Alvor

The one bedroom house is perfect, keeps you fit going up and down the stairs as we spent most of our time on the 3rd floor which is where the terrace is with amazing views and a lovely breeze in the hot weather. The kitchen is on the ground floor, it would be useful to have a fridge on the top floor to keep the wine and beers chilled! Bring a wine cooler with you!

We were met by Helen on arrival who was lovely. We have been to Alvor before so know the area well and loved being in the centre of the village. The only downside for us was the noise of local dogs barking during the night, not much the owners can do about this!

We would certainly recommend and would stay here again if we return.

"It does exactly what it says on the tin"

No need to go into detail on this lovely, recently renovated little house. The description is "spot-on". So, if you're a couple who like to holiday in a traditional setting alongside the locals this must be be on your short list.

It's reassuring to know that you have very professional and competent property managers living nearby if any issue or emergency should arise. (Thankfully we did not have any reason to contact to contact Helen/Neil after they met us at the apt.)

Well done to all.

We would definitely recommend this house to our friends.

Fantastic views and location

Location couldn't have even better!

Overall we enjoyed our stay, the house was clean, bright and bed was comfortable bed. The licationwas excellent! So close to the Main Street but so quite to sleep. The restaurants are 1/2 a block away and the view was great! I would recommend this house for your stayin Alvor!
