This propety is perfect for family vacations, family reunions, board meetings ,corporate or leadership retreats. This property has been the host for small weddings, wedding showers, rehersal dinners or to house members of the wedding party. We've hosted weekend golf outings and college reunions and working team retreats where a combination of working in a beautiful secluded environment and some fun on the lake are called for. The front deck overlooks Bullick Hollow Cove with breathtaking views of the Cypress Creek arm of Lake Travis. The property is situated on 3.64 acres of gently sloping shores with over 800 feet of gently sloping lake front which has its own boat dock and boat launch which are usable when the lake level is above 667'. The gently sloping property is suitable for hiking down by the lake and through the property and there is a concrete patio lakeside where you can set up chairs and spend the day relaxing down by the water.
This house was great for our weekend getaway with friends. There was a ton of room and everything was nice and clean. The house was better in person, than the pictures showed.
The location of this property on Lake Travis is perfect and even with a large group there was more than enough space for all of us. The property manager made sure we had everything we needed and did a great job following up and giving an orientation to the property. The property is better than advertised and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to relax at the lake with friends and family.
Enjoyed our stay at this lovely lake house. Despite the rainy weather, the view was awesome! Will definitely rent again in the spring and/or summer months.
We rented this property for a relaxing girls' weekend for a group of 19, and could not have asked for a better location. The huge open upstairs living room and kitchen were perfect for our large gathering, and the view from the porch was breathtaking. Two ovens in the kitchen with two large tables made cooking for 19 people a breeze. We felt like we were miles away from civilization, but were actually close enough to a number of stores and restaurants to pick up anything we forgot, and a quick drive from various boat rental locations. We all had such a relaxing time and will definitely be back!
My immediate family and my extended family rented this house for a wedding nearby. It fit all 18 of us (9 children and 9 adults) with room! It is off a main road but you have access to the lake from the house, a great place to eat by the lake and a great area to swim with the kids! It is a house tucked into the wood with an amazing view of the lake! My only con is there are a lot of steps to walk up to the front door which was a little tiring for my parents (70+).
We arrived at this house for a large family gathering. I was most concerned about being able to accommodate a group of 15 people in a single house but when we arrived it was obvious that there was plenty of room at the Bullick Hollow House. Everyone had their own bed to sleep and the large family room was open concept connecting with the kitchen. We were able to stay in contact with everyone no matter where we were in the house. There are refrigerators upstairs and another downstairs which obviously came in handy. The backyard was massive with enough room to park, play yard games, and hangout. One of the biggest advantages of this place is location. Only 5 minutes to HEB (large grocery store) and easy to get to Downtown. There were no issues with check in or check out and the rental company even gave us a thorough orientation of the property to answer any questions.
The only issue with the house is that Lake Travis is pretty dry right now. Hopefully some rain will come to central Texas and refill this natural beauty.
I would definitely recommend this house and the rental company.
