Set on a quiet beach road & boasting 180 degree views of the ocean with direct access to a secluded beach the house name 'Mooi Uitsig' - meaning 'Beautiful View' in the Afrikaans language - describes the location perfectly.
The house sleeps a maximum of 14 people - 10 adults & 4 children - in 4 twin air-conditioned bedrooms and a large sleeper couch in the lounge that converts to twin single beds. There is a bunkhouse under the large sun deck which holds a further 4 bunk beds and is ideal for children who want their own space.
The swimming pool also overlooks the ocean. Braai (BBQ) areas are available both on the sun deck and also in the rear garden. The sun deck has direct access from 3 of the 4 bedrooms, has seating for 12 and has a pub with bar facilities next to the braai. It is an ideal place to watch the spectacular sunrises, soak up the sun's rays or watch the whales & dolphins swim by.
The house has 3 bathrooms (1 ensuite shower room, an ensuite bathroom & a further family shower room), a fully equipped kitchen with laundry room, flatscreen TV, DVD & audio in the lounge and wifi internet access.
An 800m stroll along the beach will bring you to Hibberdene main beach which has lifeguard protection, lagoon and recreational facilities. The town centre & all it's amenities are also very close by.
The house is centrally located for access to over 20 golf courses, 2 world class diving destinations, 15 bowls clubs & numerous outdoor activities including safaris (from 5* luxury to self drive one day trips), the worlds largest bungee swing at Oribi Gorge, water parks & bird watching reserves. Full golfing holiday itineraries can be designed and all tee times pre booked. Caddies & carts are available on almost all courses and can also be pre booked. Golf competitions, tournaments & Ryder Cup format weekends are just a few of the options we can offer to touring golf parties.
Having spent 20 years working in the city of London I now split my time equally between the tranquil shores of KwaZulu Natal's South Coast and the county of Kent, England

Very few parts of the world offer a sublime year round climate and a fantastic beach life within an English speaking environment. Combined with the very low cost of living once you're here and with whales and dolphins on call for 6 months of the year you cannot help but fall in love with this place !
Winters are mild, (temperatures in high teens to mid 20's) and summers are hot with temperatures up to 35C. A pool and the Indian Ocean is all that's needed to keep cool - and air conditioning of course of which the house has plenty !
