About Terry and Irene
Our names are Terry & Irene and we are originally from the Manchester area. However we have now lived in beautiful North Wales for 17 happy years with a retirement dream to live somewhere that we have always enjoyed visiting. This is our first holiday let in the area , with the second one in Llandudno. Both properties have 5 star reviews on the website since their inception in 2015 and 2017. We love the walks in the Snowdonia/Llyn Peninsular area and are regular hikers in the surrounding countryside.
Terry and Irene purchased this Cottage in 2014
Why Terry and Irene chose Porthmadog
Purchased for the peaceful location and views within easy access to all the amenities that lie in the beautiful village of Tremadog. This is also a cottage that In fact we ourselves could live in
What makes this Cottage unique
Quiet village location with excellent amenities and a great base from which to explore the surrounding Snowdonia and Llyn Peninsular areas.

Our stay in Tremadog
Great cottage every thing you needed wished we could have stayed longer.
The perfect base with everything you could need
We had a fantastic week in North Wales. The cottage is ideally placed for Porthmadog, Snowdon, the Ffestiniog and countless other days out. It has everything you could need from tissues to hairdryers and the generous supply of biscuits went down very well with the kids! The shower is hot, the bedrooms are comfortable and the kitchen is large enough to all be in. Would recommend.
19 Dublin Street
Very cosy and well appointed and well labelled. Generous supply of basic essentials which one normally forgets. Everything worked well. The notice on the central heating a little confusing about when leaving. We left it in the off position. Most of the time we were at my sisters in Porthmadog so we did not have to cook much. Nice boxes of biscuits to welcome us and festive decorations.
Only one minor point - the central heating boiler made a good alarm clock at 6.30 am. You could carify that it was on street parking.
We would recommend the property to our friends though the Xmas price rise was a little steep.
Thank you very much for your valued feedback as we do appreciate any suggestions to improve our guests experience during their stay.
Please note we will adjust the boiler timing to bring this on at a later time for 7.30 am as, due to the compactness of the cottage, the boiler will make a slight noise as the pump circulates.
The parking situation is stated in the property description as, "Road parking with additional space in the village square".
We hope this helps but again many thanks for your comments.
Terry and Irene
A great stay in this clean, well equipped cottage. The village of Tremadog was a great place to stay, nice and quiet and just out of the hustle and bustle of Porthmadog, perfect. Thank you Terry & Irene for all those little extras which are in the cottage it made it a home away from home. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
A HOME FROM HOME
Where ever you stay the beds are the most important thing( must be very comfortable). The beds in this cottage are very comfortable and the rooms are very spacious. The bathroom has everything you would need. The kitchen is very well equipped and spacious. The living room is spacious as well. I will go back to go up Snowden. The weather wasn't good enough for good visibility at the top.
Very nice. Just the right size for a base camp for a family of 4 to explore.
Excellent location to explore the whole area including the Lynn peninsula, snowdonia and anglsey. Tremadog is a lovely little village just outside porthmadog with a Tesco store 4 mins drive for supplies and fuel.
The famous 'Prisoner' village of Portmerion is within easy driving distance (4 miles) of the cottage and Tremadog
