The stable conversion is behind the main house where I live with my husband 'David'

my grown up boys live away during the week and sometimes return home at weekends making our family complete again

Having lived in Chester City center for 22 years! we now realise what beautiful scenery we have been missing

This is a semi rural area, perfect location for visiting Cheshire, Chester, Manchester and the beautiful North Wales i.e Mold and Wrexham which are quaint market towns not far from this area, we are also only about and hour and a half from the Lake District

Hawarden is set in The Gladstone Estate which is open to the public and features beautiful walks and has breathtaking views

Hawarden also benefits several lovely pubs and restaurants

Fields/ walks and a children's play area nearby

Being on the border of Cheshire/North Wales the property is perfectly located for visiting the many attractions on offer from this wonderful part of the country

Chester city center is full of ancient remains and a walk around the Roman walls is not to be missed and is free as is the amphitheatre and Grosvenor park leading to the river Dee and meadows Chester Zoo has just had a complete new revamp including new islands and there is also a railway system for those wanting to take the easy route Cheshire Oaks designer outlet is about 8 /10 miles away

Quaint, Cozy & Private

We received a warm welcome from the owners, Jo & Dave, and Alfie the dog 😀?. The property is quaint, cozy and private. Additionally, it is a new conversion and it appears to have been done really well.

We had a great week, and would consider staying there again if such a need arises for accommodation in the area.

Chester race course, Chester Zoo, Cheshire Oaks designer outlet village, Wrexham and Mold historic market towns both 8- 10 miles away, Llandudno/Conway (castle) approx. 40 minutes by car Snowdonia national park, Anglesey etc. alll within easy access
