Our property has a large backyard, pretty view of the lagoon, and substantial off street parking. It is a short walk to the ocean, despite the lagoon location. We decorate and maintain our two-family home as if we would live there ourselves; it is bright, neat and clean. Completely renovated after the Hurricane too!
Although we had to pack it in and leave a day earlier than expected (Hurricane Irene was kicking us out) we had a wonderful time at this home. The owners were very prompt with responses and we had everything we needed to be comfortable. we would definitely recommend this home and plan on renting again next summer.
Booking this rental without seeing inside was a risk ... and I took it ... and I got more than I asked for . The accomodations and amenities are so suitable for a relaxing family vacation with low maintenance. The kitchen is immaculate with new appliances and a dishwasher (yes! no hand washing dishes!) The interior is so inviting and spacious ... the sun loves the house! The back deck and yard offers plenty of entertaining space, a grill, and a wonderful view of the lagoon that you could enjoy for hours. Another plus after a day on the beach is enjoying the outside shower. Walking distance to the beach and bay and close to restaurants and shops in town. All in all ... a great choice for a rental .... We enjoyed it very much !!!!

Located in north Lavallette, this property is on the narrowest part of the island, so the beach is less crowded. Walk to the center of town. Bring home fresh produce from the farmers' market. Walk the Lavallette boardwalk, or bike on it before 10 am. Enjoy fine restaurants and casual eateries. Enjoy the bike path along the bay beaches. Play tennis by the bay. Use the piers for great crabbing. Walk with little children to the nearby bay beach playgrounds and enjoy spectacular sunsets. Older children will enjoy nearby Point Pleasant boardwalk and Seaside Heights. The beach is 25 houses away, is guarded, and offers a surfing area separate from swimmers.
