Why Julie chose James Creek
Our family purchased acreage on Piney Ridge in 1971 to take advantage of the newly formed Raystown Lake, built a road, cleared the land, roasted many a hotdog over burning brush piles, and finally built the cottage in 1974. It has been the site of many reunions, a wedding, a few honeymoons, anniversary & birthday celebrations, and Thanksgiving dinner has been a tradition here since 1974. The cottage has been well used & well loved. We chose the spot for its proximity to the lake to take advantage of the many activities such as boating, skiing, swimming and fishing. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Our family of four had a very relaxing time while vacationing in the area. Julie is fantastic and was excellent in providing everything and anything anyone would need for an enjoyable time. Property is immaculate and very well appointed. We have cottages of our own and are very well aware of what is required for an enjoyable stay when away from home and look forward to visiting again.
Everything was great! Definitely would stay here again and recommend it to others ! Thanks Julie
Second time we’ve stayed here and it was amazing as always! We had so much fun and can’t wait to come back !
Wonderful, peaceful, relaxing getaway!
Great spot, close to Raystown Lake Resort.
We have stayed here more than once and enjoy the cabin and surrounding area. The house is well furnished and has a beautiful outdoor space. It is close to Lake Raystown resort where our family typically stays; however the resort does not break up weeks and only allows pets in certain areas. This is the perfect solution for us.
Wonderful hosts with a great set up.
excellent. we loved it. would highly recommend it.
