Stunning Cottage that sleeps 6 in Killinghall, nr Harrogate, Yorkshire, England

Commerce Cottage is situated a short walk from the lovely village of Killinghall, boasting two pubs favoured by locals. It is a short drive or bus ride to Harrogate, Ripon, Knaresborough and Ripley, with all their attractions and events.

This delightful cottage is full of character blending the old with the new. The front entrance leads directly into the dining room with wooden floor, seating up to 6 guests and walkway through to the lounge.

The lounge has stone flooring with cosy rugs, feature stone wall, beams and gas woodburner type fire.

The Kitchen has a tiled floor with 1 step down into rear patio area with outside seating.

Bedroom 1 is a Double room with feature fireplace (decoration only), Bedroom 2 is a Twin room with front views and Bedroom 3 is a Single room with a double bed (please note access from one side only).

There is one Bathroom with a shower over the bath, a heated towel rail, toilet and basin.

Microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, electric hob with electric oven and washing machine.

About Mrs Karen Furnass

Hello. My name is Karen and I own Commerce Cottages. I started this cottage as a holiday cottage a couple of years ago. I also have another cottage in Clifford, near Wetherby, that sleeps 4. The rest of the time I am a beauty therapist working in my own salon in Easingwold - Karen Elizabeth Beauty. I am closely involved in the upkeep and cleaning of my cottages to ensure that everything remains to a high standard.

Why Mrs Karen Furnass chose Harrogate

I bought this cottage as I love the village, Killinghall. It is so accessible to everywhere; Harrogate, Knaresborough, Ripley, Ripon, Leeds and York. It is a great location for the Great Yorkshire Showground and it's year round events, Harrogate, for the Leeds Festival, races at Wetherby, York and Ripon, as well as being on hand for the many events held at Ripley Castle. Also not forgetting the Horse Trials at Bramham Park in nearby Wetherby.

What makes this Cottage unique

Commerce Cottage is a stunning cottage sleeping 6 in three bedrooms. The nearby village offers pubs for eating and it's very own fish and chip shop! THe nearby village of Ripley offers an array of shops for everything you need including groceries, cafes, restaurants, an ice-cream store, local butchers and a delicatessen. There is an excellent bus service from this village into Harrogate. It's location, close to major Yorkshire attractions, as well as the motorway network makes it an ideal base for exploring all that the area has to offer.
