Crested Butte House Rental Photos and Description

4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms (all full bathrooms are ensuite), sleeps 10

Come enjoy the newest luxury retreat on Mt. Crested Butte! This elegant four bedroom home is located on the edge of the Gunnison Nat'l Forest boundary, on the North side of the Butte, providing sweeping views of the East River and the great, fronting wall of the Elk Mountains from the deck.

The house is in the Wildhorse community on the edge of the East River Valley, a 15 minute drive from the town of Crested Butte, and remote enough to enjoy a quiet night beneath the stars. While far from the crowds of the ski resort center, the Goldlink chairlift is a ten-minute walk from your doorstep, and provides unique ski-in, ski-out access to the slopes.

The home is luxuriously furnished, offers a jetted tub in the master bedroom to relax, stone showers in all four ensuite bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, living room with home theatre system, an LCD TV, cable access, and DVD collection, a stone fireplace, wireless internet, & radiant heat. The home has every amenity for maximum enjoyment.

Best Family Vacation Home

  • 5 of 5

Our family ski trip was at Mt Crested Butte and the magnificent home that we rented could not have been any better. Our two daughters, their spouses and children had plenty of their own space down stairs. We (the grand parents) loved our master suite on the main floor and privacy we had. Better still was the main living area with the wide open floor plan with the beautiful windows with full view of the mountains. The fireplace was over the top. Therevwas not one thing we would have changed about our stay. Thanks so much for everything.

Awesome house with Gorgeous views!

  • 5 of 5

We spent the weekend at this awesome house! It had everything readily available. We were close to the back side of the mountain ski lifts which was so nice! The house and views were spectacular! Enough room for everyone including our dogs! We even had 3 fox friends that kept visiting us! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had a great time in this beautiful home! The shuttle to the ski area is 1/4 mile away. Snowshoe and cross country trails just down the road. Easy access to town. Loved it! Janice and John

Excellent vacation rental

  • 5 of 5

This vacation cabin was perfect for our family. Lots of room, well appointed, and has all that we needed. The views from the upper and lower decks are amazing, especially with the peaking fall foliage! We also enjoyed the outdoor fire ring as we watched the lunar eclipse unfold above the mountains. The Gothic valley is super close by, and the nearby Fantasy Ranch horseback riding was a big hit with our daughter. The drive into Crested Butte is only a few miles, not inconvenient at all. Kebler Pass is also not too far away, and definitely worth visiting in the fall. Our entire experience, from booking the cabin to leaving the final day, was a breeze. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone visiting the Crested Butte area. The only thing that could be better would be the addition of an outdoor hot tub to soak your tired muscles after a day of hiking or skiing...then it would be almost too good to be true!

Our home borders on the Gunnison Nat'l Forest Boundary. One can hike from the backyard down to the East River below. In the summer one can hear the sounds of the river rising up from the valley. Crested Butte is known for its fantastic skiing in winter and for the annual Wildflower Festival in summer. The area is also known as a mecca for mountain biking. The whitewater rafting and kayaking on the nearby Taylor River is always fun with different levels for the whole family (we have done it). There is also excellent fishing in the area. In addition this summer brings an arts festival as well as music festival to Crested Butte.

Other Activities: Crested Butte hosts an annual summer Wildflower Festival
