Beautiful 2 Bed Apartment. Stunning location and views. Wifi and all mod cons.
About Jean M
I am a nurse married to a doctor and have 2 adult daughters. We have purchased Sea View with a view to using it as a holiday getaway and, in due course, for relaxation in retirement. In the next few years however, we will inevitably spend more time working than staying there, so we would like to allow others to enjoy!
Jean M purchased this Apartment in 2015
Why Jean M chose Saint Austell Bay
Sea View really is a lovely apartment in a beautiful location. It is rural and quiet but within easy reach of all amenities even if you do not have a car. We both enjoy the seaside, the countryside, walks and socialising. Sea View ticks all the boxes for us and hopefully for you too
What makes this Apartment unique
All mod cons, beautiful location and so accessible for so many things. Holiday homes don't come much better!

Excellent property and location
Really enjoyed our stay
Excellent apartment+perfect location
We've stayed at this apartment before so knew that it is excellent - very clean, extremely comfortable, well equipped in a location that is perfect
Wonderful Spring Break
The apartment is ideally located on the second floor of a 3 storey block on a quiet residential area. The elevated position gave us very clear views of the bay. The walk to the beach is 5 mins and a delightful 15 minute walk along the cliff path brought us to Charlestown with great eateries. The apartment is in a good spot to get to the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Lanhydrock and lovely walks. It was well equipped, (although would have appreciated a cafetiere!) modern appliances, tasteful furnishings, very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again if we came back to the same area. Strongly recommended.
We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay and thank you for maintaining our record of all 5 star reviews. We do have a cafetière but inadvertently left it in our store cupboard. We will ensure that it is available for future guests.
Very comfortable apartment with stunning sea views
This property is very well equipped and felt like home from home. Having a sheltered balcony off the bedroom to enjoy the morning sun while having breakfast was a real luxury.
Amazing apartment didn’t want to leave .
Facilities 5 star
First class property in an amazing location
We've just returned from our holiday in Cornwall and it was made all the better by the stay in this wonderful apartment.
The apartment is exceptionally clean and also very warm. The kitchen was very well equipped.
Very good security in the whole building, and the garage was extremely useful - we stored our bikes in it for the duration of the stay, but it is plenty big enough to fit a large family car in.
The location is perfect, with the stroll to the beach being down a short steep path - I can imagine it being quite entertaining when it's frosty! A quick 15 minute walk along the cliff path leads to Charlestown - perfect for breakfast.
Communication with the owners was also very good.
Suffice to say, this won't be our last stay here!
Sea View is a gorgeous modern apartment around 200m from a beautiful rural private beach. It has 2 balconies both of which have views across St Austell Bay and local woodland. The apartment was completed in 2014, is tastefully decorated and fully equipped. It is within easy walking distance of Charlestown and belies its' rural location by being 5 minutes by car, or 10 minutes by bicycle from the local hub of St Austell. You really do get the best of both worlds!
It has comfortable accommodation for 4 with either 2 king size beds or 1 king size and 2 singles. All modern conveniences are included. Internet, quality flat screen TV, DVD player, dishwasher, washer/dryer and a full range of kitchen appliances are in the apartment.
Local attractions are too numerous to mention but both The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are within 15 minutes by car and accessible by public transport or even bicycle for the fit and adventurous. There is a bus stop 100metres from the apartment with weekday hourly buses to St Austell, Newquay and Fowey (and onwards from St Austell bus/ train station).
We are ideally located for countryside and coastal walks, water sports and golf. We are also very close to national cycle routes 2 & 3.
The apartment is not set up for young children and has balconies which may be a risk for youngsters who like to climb, and is strictly non-smoking.
It has a lift for the less able but is in a fairly hilly area. There is allocated parking and a garage for storage of larger items such as bicycles, surfboards etc.
The apartment has been refurnished, upgraded and re-equipped. It was redecorated and recarpeted in January 2019.
