There you can enjoy lunch, snacks and drinks while lying in the provided, chaise lounge beach chairs. Or just enjoy the fabulous snorkeling, white sand beach, and calm waves. And you can enjoy watching the whales in season, or the large sea turtles coming ashore to bask in the same sun you are enjoying.

A short walk in another direction from your doorstep, brings you to the world class resort hotel with its shops and restaurants. Or a short walk in a different direction takes you to the brand new shopping complex containing the Tommy Bahamas store and restaurant, Ruth Chris Steak House and a wide variety of other boutiques, galleries, ice-cream shop and even Starbucks. We have open spacious living areas, gourmet kitchens with designer cabinets, granite countertops throughout, stainless steel appliances. On the lanai there is a built-in, top of the line outdoor double wide gas grill, hood with fan and light and bar sink. All of this speaks of the comfort, pleasure and rest you will have in these units. You will walk in the door and say WOW, with a smile on your face, knowing the next several days will be spent there.

3RD QUESTION. Why should we stay in this particular unit in Building H at the Palm Villas vs. other Palm Villa units? What is unique about it?

FIRST- It is larger than both the 3BR/2BA Queen & 2BR/2BA Princess in our complex with a large loft. If you are looking for a little more space for that extra person, this is the one. Each bedroom has its own bath.

SECOND- As the owner, I am biased, but we specifically chose this location because we believe the H building location is the BEST in the complex. Here is why. It is in the very rear of the complex, away from any possible pool noise, and nestled against the Golf course. And since it is at the very end of the driveway, it gets no road noise. It is secluded, very safe and very quiet.

THIRD- After it was finished, we went way beyond the ordinary to have this place professionally decorated and custom painted with the highest quality furniture, furnishings and art from Tommy Bahamas and others so that you will feel pampered and know that you are not in “just a rental”. You will experience the difference from the moment you walk through the door to when you slip in the amazingly comfortable beds at night. You see, this is where we vacation, and that is how we want to feel when we are in Hawaii.

FOURTH- This is an upstairs unit that faces the historic preservation area, the royal fish ponds and the ocean. Therefore at night, the cool breeze comes through screen door and windows and you can hear the soft crash of the waves on the beach.

You can eat dinner outside at night on the lanai and face amazing sunsets or watch seasonal fireworks from both resort hotels over the ocean. Or just sit in the comfortable chairs on the lanai with your morning coffee or evening glass of wine looking over the incredible view. It is Hawaii … and you are on vacation. It does not get any better than this.

FINALLY- From the early construction days to even now weekly, we have prayed and asked our Heavenly Father to place blessings of peace and rest on all the people, of all kinds and nations who rest in this house. Many have remarked on how they experienced the peace of this house.

Pefect condo

We had the perfect vacation on the Big Island staying at this condo. The location was ideal-- very nice, short walk along the beach path even loaded down with 2 small kids and gear. The condo was even better than the description provided. It was equipped with everything one could possibly use/need and all of it was in great condition. While a little tight for 2 families with a total of 3 babies/toddlers, it would be perfect for a single family with kids. We had a fabulous stay here and cannot wait to return!

Beautiful Property!

This property is exactly as explained on the website! Beautiful and so well decorated and maintained. The location is perfect- so close to the pool, and just steps away from the walkway to the beach! Wonderfully well equipped with everything you need for your vacation away from home! I have not ever stayed at a property before where the condo provides everything you need for the beach (chairs, snorkeling gear, coolers, umbrellas, beach towels, etc.) It made all the difference! Also, another first was how well the directions for staying at the property were so well laid out on an app for your phone, and also in a binder on the cabinet. Any question I had from operating the coffee maker, to directions to the beach, were available at the touch of my fingers on this amazing app on my phone! That was amazing ! This property owner definitely exhibits the "Wow" factor for their guests!

We experienced the best snorkeling right there on the property! Such a beautiful resort! You will not go wrong by staying here!

Perfect Vacation Location

The unit is beautiful - very clean and well-maintained and exactly as pictured on the website. The furnishings are comfy and neutral and the unit is very spacious. It had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. We especially enjoyed the view from the beautiful lanai....and the great BBQ. One of the few units in the Palm Villas where you can see the sunset in January.

The grounds themselves are lovely. The uncrowded pool area is a nice second choice to the beautiful beach.

The complex is within an easy and pleasant 15-minute stroll of the beach club, through the amazing ancient fish ponds. The Shops at Mauna Lani are also a very walkable 10 minutes from the complex. The beach club was fantastic and perfect for lazy days on the beach...or snorkeling.

The property owner and the property manager were both very responsive and easy to work with.

Mauna Lani Experience Enjoyed

Lovely property, accomodations as described on-line.

Very organized, everything labled and numbered.

instruction book very complete although there was some confusion about local contact person.

Beach area at beach club fairly crowded most days but pool almost private it seems.

Walk to pool after dark, need flashlight which was provided because path lights not working.

Overall had a wonderful time, everyting worked (TV remote in living room a little complicated). Lanai was

fun to use.

Would recommend to a friend.

Absolutely Fantastic Vacation Home!

The Ellisons, owners of these properties, have a website which describes and promotes their three Palm Villa condos. They make three key points about H-23, the condo we stayed in for 10 days in early January, 2016: That the Mauna Lani Resort, the Palm Villa condominiums, and their H-23 condo, collectively represent the best choice for vacationing on the Big Island of Hawaii. After staying there, we could not agree more! While not new to the Hawaiian Islands, this was our first visit to the Big Island, and we came away absolutely convinced it would henceforth be "our" special island... The Kohala Coast is the driest/sunniest part of the Big Island, the Mauna Lani Resort property (adjacent to and North of the Waikoloa Resort) is much quieter and more "adult" oriented (fewer gimmicks, less grandiose), the Palm Villa condominiums are -- we think -- the perfect choice from the many available in the resort, and the H-23 condo we stayed in the quietest and best furnished we've ever experienced! We loved the resort: easy walks to beach and shops, beautiful hotels and restaurants for romantic dinners, absolutely flawless landscaping and gorgeous golf courses. We loved the gated Palm Villa condominium complex: small, impeccably landscaped, quiet and away from road noise, beautiful, uncrowded pool...an absolutely perfect escape from the chaos of normal life... And finally, H-23: quiet, beautifully appointed and decorated (including beach toys and equipment), spotlessly clean, and big enough to accommodate visitors from the mainland. And the Ellisons are truly representative of the best of the HomeAway concept: great communicators, wonderfully detailed instructions for using the condo's amenities, and genuinely interested in ensuring that our visit was one for the memory books!
