What an amazing experience
I had no idea, where I was coming to. I was needing a place to stay so I could come from the US to meet my son's fiance for the first time. I emailed the owner to ask if her property was in the vicinity of where I needed to be. She did not steer me wrong. I arrived to a welcome from a neighbor and a few essentials that I might need. I was staying alone in a country that I had never been to, and I immediately felt like I was HOME. It was such a quaint, beautiful place to stay.
I was surrounded by beautiful scenery and friendly neighbors. A close walk to anything you might need. I am sure I will be back, and hopefully this is where I will be staying if it isn't already booked. There is also so much to explore in the surrounding areas. I was in the UK for 2 weeks, and was able to find an adventure everyday of my trip. I can't think of anything that could have made it a better first experience of the UK ... Thank you for your hospitality LOVED LOVED LOVED this place🧡💛💚💙💜💥💥💥💥
It’s was a great pleasure to host you.
I’m glad you enjoyed your stay
Perfect for what we needed.
This lovely little property ticked all the boxes for what we were looking for. Checking in was easy, just a case of a key lock in the porch and letting ourselves in. The property was lovely and clean with plenty of furnishings to make it feel homely. We quickly settled in and adopted it as our own. The 3 of us were staying here whilst we completed a month long Cabin Crew training course at Leeds Bradford airport, there was plenty of room for the 3 of us to be able to relax in the evening, for all of us to get involved with making the dinner and to get ready in the morning. The commute to the airport worked well as it tended to be mostly country lanes so traffic was avoided!
In terms of what was provided, we were pleasantly surprised as there was more then enough cleaning products and pots/pans/utensils in the kitchen for us not to have to buy anything extra throughout our stay.
The road in which the property is located is full of lovely chatty neighbours, we never went a day without having a conversation with someone. Just a short walk out of the road and we found ourselves heading towards Saltaire, there is a lovely big park, canal and The Boathouse Inn bar/restaurant. We both ate there for breakfast and went for a drink one Saturday evening, it has a really lovely atmosphere with a view over the canal and the breakfast was delicious.
Overall this property is in a great location, has a lovely cosy feel to it and looks bigger than it does on the photos!
My family from New Zealand had a lovely stay with me at this lovely property. The apartment was clean and tidy on arrival. Everything we needed (bedding etc) for our stay and basic food provisions were provided. We were close to shops, good coffee shops and restaurants. A great place to stay.
We enjoyed our stay immensely at the flat
The flat was very clean and a nice and peaceful area with plenty of restraints around enjoyed our stay very much thank you Carole
Perfect for a couple needing a handy base in a peaceful locale.
The flat is well equipped, light, comfortable and secure. Close to the World Heritage Saltaire village and the Salt Mills. Managed morning walks along the pretty canal (ducks, swans, barges, friendly locals) and nice cafes to welcome you back. We managed without a car as trains to Bradford/Leeds and beyond (Skipton, Settle - Carlisle scenic route) although a car is handy.
Carole is a VERY responsive host who dealt with queries/requests promptly.
Would definitely recommend and happily return.
Clean, tidy and meet all our needs and requirements.
