About Pauline Blackburn

We visited Normandy in September 2005 just to view a few properties or so we thought. We viewed one property then arrived at this one to which we fell totally in love with. It was like going back in time to our youth. In early 2006 we moved here from Yorkshire with our family pets 2 ponies and a dog. The area is so peaceful, rural yet not too far to amenities.

Pauline Blackburn purchased this cottage in 2005

Why Pauline Blackburn chose Ger

It made us feel young again. We just fell in love with the location it took us back to happy times, both of us has children came from a farming background riding and driving ponies, keeping pigs collecting fresh eggs, fresh vegetables not forgetting fresh milk from the farm.

What makes this cottage unique

Set in a fabulous location on a quiet country lane. Perfect for couples to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet in the beautiful surroundings.

Relax and inspiration at Grenier

  • 5 of 5

Grenier is a magical place where nature reigns.

The garden is really impressive with roses, flowers and plants. Pauline and Phil are two kind people, we have been very good with them. The apartment is spacious, quaint, equipped with everything. The nearby villages hide natural pearls, this part of Normandy is really beautiful!
