We do special cleaning when pets have been to the cabin, due to the fact that many people are allergic .
There is also unlimited long distance at Rush Creek Cabin. Since there is no cell phone service, we wanted our guests to be able to reach loved ones or their place of business.
This home was very thoughtfully and lovingly decorated. It welcomed us like a warm hug. We wanted for nothing.
Thank you for the tranquility of the woods and the sweet sounds of a stream to further soothe our soul.
My husband & I chose this cabin as the place to meet and spend a week with our adult children and grandchild. What a great choice it turned out to be! Upon arriving, we were surprised to find fresh flowers and fruit. The cabin was beautifully decorated, cozy and comfortable yet luxurious! Everything was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need. It is quiet and serene and the perfect place to unplug and unwind. There is something for everyone - I enjoyed relaxing with one of the many good books they have available. The grandchild loved the hot tub and game room. It was a short drive to many local attractions including The Biltmore. We shopped, went trout fishing, tubing, hiking and even gem mining! We dined in on the screened in porch most evenings while talking about the adventures of the day. This was a perfect place for us and I'm sure we will return!
We all appreciated the things that were done to make us feel at home, from fresh flowers to special treats! The cabin was much larger than it looked in the pictures! The quality was that of a new cabin with the feel of a rustic older log home. Our family also especially enjoyed relaxing on the screened porch. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed going into Black Mountain - great shopping and restaurants!
This was such a great place to stay for our group! There was plenty of space for 8 adults and 4 children. We are from outside the busy Washington DC area and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quaintness of the cabin. We appreciated all the touches and complimentary amenities provided and often commented "they have thought of everything!" from the logs for a fire, bubble bath and snacks! It is important to note there is limited to no cell phone service or WiFi, which we really enjoyed, but we appreciated the use of the house phone to stay in contact when we needed. I have never booked a vacation home before but the check-in/check-out process was so easy! Thank you for such a wonderful stay and hospitality!
My girlfriends and I spent a relaxing weekend in the cabin as a getaway to celebrate my birthday. The location is perfect for getting around to nearby attractions, but we had so many fun things to do right at the cabin! We enjoyed the hot tub, the pool table, games, etc. We all fell in love with the fresh flowers everywhere, and the beautiful way the cabin was decorated. Rustic antiques (my favorite) as well as plenty of comfortable furniture and beds. The screened porch was perfect for early mountain mornings with coffee...just a delightful stay all around. We will be back!
This property is absolutely amazing!!! My friends and I have stayed in other cabins in the area. This one is far superior to the others in every aspect. The cabin was clean, well stocked with fire wood and everything you would ever need in the kitchen. The linens are high quality. There were fesh flowers in every room which was a very nice added touch!!! The customer service was exceptional!!! From the owner to the property manager anything we needed was made available. As a matter of fact, the television broke while we were there and a new one was there in less than two hours!! The cabin is secluded but still close enough to get to attractions in less than an hour. We went to Biltmore, Grandfather Mountain, Mount Mitchell, Grove Park Inn, Chimney Rock, and Flat Rock Playhouse just to mention a few!!! We will definately be back at least twice a year.
My family totally enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin. It is NOT just a cabin but a lovely home. All three couples had their own whole floor. What a luxury!! We had plenty to do, lots of neat shops, great restaurants and beautiful county side. It is such a great change from our hectic "other" lives. We all hated to leave!! We are planning another trip in the fall to enjoy the beautiful fall leaves. Harvietta G
