My house in the small town of Aguirre just 7 miles from the big town of Guayama and 7 miles from Salinas.
It is a newer American style house (this is a house, not an apartment - you get the whole house to yourselves) just 3 miles from the ocean and in a country setting on 7 acres with newly remodeled bathrooms (2 bathrooms now). Spectacular view of the Caribbean Sea from the wrap around deck, view to the back of open country and beautiful sunsets. Always has a good tropical breeze and nice place to just come and relax. Quick freeway access (500 feet from house) to go out and see the island, visit family around the island or to have them come visit with you.
The house is complete on the inside as the pictures show - however the following things are not done yet on the outside of the house (this work is now in progress): needs a metal railing for the stairs & balcony (there is a 2 foot tall planter box however all around), needs patina covering some exposed blocks and stanchions outside of house.

Originally from Seattle, WA but ended up in Puerto Rico for many years and decided to buy property there. Currently living in Seattle, WA to care for my elderly father.

I chose this property as an investment since it was on one of the few 4 way exits on the 52/53 freeway system. Chi Chi's golf course exit was originally only a 2 way exit but was changed over to a 4 way exit just a few years ago. I loved the view of the sea, the view of the mountains behind. The house was just a unfinished cement shell and we have slowly finished it off with the help of my neighbors Guiso y Viviana at the top of the hill. They are the one's who will take good care of you too when you come to visit.
Quick access to freeway so no time wasted winding through backroads to get out & about to things you need to do like visit family. Lots of parking & nice living room/balcony so family can come visit you and not feel overcrowded.
We spent 10 days in the beautiful countryside of Aguirre at this property. Kory, the Owner, was absolutely amazing to work with from the booking through our departure. The Caregiver and his wife, were extremely hospitable. The property was spacious with spectacular views from the balconies. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook...just like being at home. The beds were comfortable and the location made it easy for us to travel throughout the southern region of Puerto Rico. Being at this property allowed us to have a different experience of vacationing in Puerto Rico. You will not find another person as gracious and informative as Kory. Kudos Kory!!
We just returned from spending a week at Mr. Lovre's vacation rental. The house was beautiful and had everything in it that we needed. We could easily get to beaches and the highway to travel around the beautiful island. The area is very safe and peaceful. After a long day at the beach, or sightseeing, we would relax on the porch and admire the view of the Caribbean Sea. Mr. Lovre we very accommodating and we will definitely stay here again when we return to Puerto Rico.
My family and I, stood a week at Mr. Lovre Home it was a great experience ...everything was exactly how he described it...it was quiet and away from everyone but still close enough to everything and everywhere we wanted to go...Mr. Lovre was very attentive of our needs while our stay there...my 3 kids loved it...they were a little sad because they wanted to stay longer...they even ask me if I could buy the home...This is a great place to stay, the view of the mountains and ocean is spectacular ...I don't understand how people could say other wise...all I can say is, this is way better than the Caribe Hilton Hotel...I definitely recommend this home to everyone looking to travel to Puerto Rico....Enjoy it, places like this one is not that easy to find....
We spent this month of Feb., as we did last year, enjoying the very comfortable, relaxing, clean,spacious, well equipped vacation house. All appliances were working well...Balcony Grill has all grilling tools including cleaning tools,2 bathrooms & showers are lovely & working well, washing machine in carport works fine, no dryer but lines have so much breeze;clothes dry fast. In our 2 yrs. 2 mths. stays the only "critters" we saw were tiny ants..welcome to the tropics! No rats, mice or roaches!!! As city dwellers, the highway traffic was not a problem..quick access to drive to whereever we needed to go. For this house & the price, it can't be beat!
Me, my wife and in-laws had a wonderful time staying in this villa located in Guayama. We found it to be just like it was described. It was very clean, well maintained and peaceful. It has great ocean views from the balcony which we sat out on at night time, functioning cable, air conditioning, laundry, large bedrooms and nice baths. Also, the owner provided great customer service.
During our visit there, we primarily went sight seeing, shopping and enjoyed different restaurants. We definitely plan to go back and stay there again. It's a great value, the owner provides excellent customer service and you have all the conveniences of being at home but even better because you're in beautiful Puerto Rico!
I must inform everyone, who is looking for this house. It´s not near the ocean, it´s nearby the freeway 53 with enormously noise.
We booked this house in dec/jan 2009/10.
At first I must note, this house is not described right. It is located ca. 80 meters nearby the freeway (carr. 53) with horrible noises 24 hours a day, mass of cars, heavy trucks, police-cars and ambulance-cars on duty - day and night.
We couldn´t sleep any night, we couldn´t sit in the kitchen or dining-room, we couldn´t sit normally at the balcony or in the garden, everywhere noises of the cars from the freeway.
This important fact and many other things, the owner (he is living thousends of miles away in seattle)
didn´t described in his internet-offer.
When we arrived, the house was not ready cleaned, the 30 years-old refrigerator was dirty and filled with old food, also the rubbish-bin was full and we found a very dirty barbeque-grill. We had no tv, no dvd, no drinking water, no place for the waste and we have seen rats at night in the kitchen and on the balcony. 2 bathrooms are declared, but only with showers, and both were damaged, we used the garden water for shower. The second bedroom is to small for using, the other has damaged window.
All in all I think this house is under construction, the stairs, windows are not ready built also the balcony and many other details.
I think this poor house is unlettable.
Many differences between description and reality - no hair dryer, no drinking water, mini-fridge was damaged, washing mashine in the garden, baking-oven was damaged, extramoney for internetcard - but no computer and no monitor in the house, rubbish dumps in every corner of the property, no mowed grass, no outdoor-furniture (only 50 years old and damaged), no sunshade, not german speaking, how declared ...
It should be a holiday-house, but we couldn´t relax here any minute. Some nights we spent outside in hotels.
The owner was not helpful, he promised a refund, but he never issued it. I think, it´s a unlettable house. I will inform Home Away today.
Just 1 hour from San Juan International Airport and 25 minutes from Ponce airport. 3 miles away from the Caribbean as the crow flies and 8 and 10 miles away from two of the nicest beaches on the south side of the island. Located 7 miles from Guayama and 7 miles from Salinas just off of Carretera 53 at exit 91/92 of Carretera 706. Near to major grocery stores and shopping centers.
