Paris is the number 1 city to visit in the WORLD and the best place on earth!
Much more luxurious and spacious than other apartments or a hotel.
Dear Julie and Bill,
We had a grand time staying at your
home in Paris. It was fab to be part of
a French neighborhood for those nine
days. The condo was very comfortable and
VERY convenient. We walked all around
the area and found it to be even better
than we had hoped it would be.
We got the 6 day museum pass and found
that to be helpful in allowing us to
maximize our museum visits.
I even found a yarn store less than a
block away, as well as a ribbon store! I
found everyone to be helpful and easy to
We were met at the airport by the
driver you arranged and then David was
there to show us around. It was a stress
free introduction to Paris after a long
flight. I particularly enjoyed the
everyday shopping and easy meal prep
(although I didn't do a lot of it!)
This is one of our favorite vacations.
It was a pleasure to stay at your home.
This is a fine place to stay in the Marais. The building is not fancy, but the apartment itself is terrific: large rooms each with a nice French window looking out on an interesting streetscape. The stairs up to the second floor were no problem. The bed is extremely comfortable, and the shower is excellent. Located on the northwest corner of the Marais it is easy walking distance to the lower Marais, the Republique area, the canals, Notre Dame, and the Left Bank. There are several excellent bakeries nearby for morning croissants, and plenty of fine cafes and restaurants. The building is located on a kind of cut de sac off several major streets, so it's fairly quiet and seems quite safe. The owners were very easy to deal with. We would definitely stay here again.
We stayed here for 8 nights in April. Two adults and two kids. The location was perfect! Across the street from the metro and a small grocery. Bigger grocery not far. Walking distance to so many of Paris sites too!
The apartment was clean and well stocked! Bed was comfortable! Kids said sofa was as well. Stairs to apartment were not as bad as anticipated. There was loads of info about the apartment and Paris provided by the owners. Communications with them and the management company were quickly answered and helpful. Wifi was good!
Price was the best, especially for the location.
Only recommendation for improvement would be to have a little more light in the kitchen area. We moved one of the floor lamps to help with that. The kids would have liked some more english kid TV channels available or a few more dvds. We didn't watch much TV as we were usually exhausted by the time we returned for the day, but some times that is nice to unwind with while dinner is cooking, etc.
We would love to have the opportunity to stay there again and recommend it highly!
We stayed 5 nights in this lovely apartment. We were met by Sophia on arrival. The metro is only about a 1 to 2 minute walk from the apartment. We were able to walk to so many attractions such as Notre Dame and the Louvre. There is plenty of restaurants right in the area and within a short walk of the apartment. The apartment was clean, homey and well equipped including a washing machine and drying rack. There were many guidebooks and maps available in the apartment. The owners, Bill and Julie provided directions and other helpful information. We would recommend this apartment for your stay in Paris!
This property is a real gem and gives you the opportunity to experience "living" in Paris. The quality of the bedding and facilities is excellent. We were welcomed into the apartment we felt right at home. We used the washing machine and the kitchen and they were great. There were plenty of fresh towels too! We loved the patisserie across the road, used the metro and the Carrefour supermarche was very convenient. The place is set up for visitors with guide books, maps and wifi. The owners have been brilliant to deal with providing excellent information and dealing with renters in a very professional and clear way!!! Whilst this was the most inexpensive accommodation in our three week trip I think it was our favourite! We look forward to returning.
This was the second time I stayed here, and I'll continue to come back. I love the location and of course the apartment itself. We didn't spend much time in the apartment, but it felt like coming home.
Loved it! Tucked away in a quiet little corner of town but only a two minute walk to the metro. The location was absolutely perfect! We walked to just about everything, Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Latin Quarter and more! There is a market and plenty of eateries to entice every palate within a few minutes of the apartment. The apartment itself is charming, clean and well equipped to make your stay very comfortable. I especially loved their selection of every possible up to date guidebook imaginable! This was our first experience staying in an apartment instead of a hotel, and we were definitely spoiled with this one. Bill and Julie, the owners, made the process so easy! We would highly recommend this perfect apartment and can't wait to get back again!
