If you're planning a gathering of family or friends, Creek 'n Woods IV is THE PLACE! This 3 story log home is a Smoky Mountain vacation rental cabin in Maggie Valley, NC. The cabin sleeps 12-14 people, and is fully furnished and equipped to handle large gatherings. There are open decks on the first and second levels, a covered porch with outdoor dining and a gas grill on the second level, and $1,000,000 VIEWS from all the decks. The waterfall provides soothing sounds wherever you are. The large hot tub is located on the lower level with great views of the waterfall, the trees, and the valley below. At the end of a full day of exploring all that there is to do in Haywood County and the surrounding areas, the hot tub is a great place to soak away the cares of the day (or the sore muscles and possible bruises from skiing or snowboarding). With 3 levels inside and 2 levels outside, this cabin provides SPACE even when large numbers gather.

Creek 'n Woods IV is on a paved road in a gated community.

There are movies, games, puzzles, and books for your enjoyment; WiFi and Direct TV are provided.

This cabin is just minutes from the Maggie Valley Club for rounds of golf, and also nearby are The Wheels Through Time Museum, Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Harrah's Cherokee Casino, Cherokee Museum, the Biltmore Estate, Cataloochee Ski Resort, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, fishing, gem mining, shopping, music, and more. Nothing is too far from Maggie Valley!

We take great care of our guests from the moment you call to make your reservation to meeting you upon your arrival no matter what time of day or night that might be. After driving 4-13 hours the last thing visitors to our area need to face is the 'hunt for the cabin' in the dark. When we meet you, we take you to the cabin so that we can explain how everything works, provide directions to the grocery store, suggestions on where to eat, and what to do If someone in your group is celebrating a special occasion (birthday, anniversary, graduation, marriage proposal, wedding etc) we will do whatever we can to help make the occasion special by providing a cake, decorations or the names of local businesses who can meet your needs.

Creek 'n Woods Vacation Rentals is committed to making your vacation memorable, special, and all that you hoped it would be. When your calendar, body and mind need some MOUNTAIN TIME and a GETAWAY, call us!

About Tom & Sue Knapko

My wife and I got married in Maggie Valley in 1996 and fell in love with the area. We moved here in 1997 from Ft. Myers, Fl and never looked back. The best move we ever made.

Tom & Sue Knapko purchased this cabin in 2008

Why Tom & Sue Knapko chose Maggie Valley

This was our 4th vacation rental cabin. It is the largest and we needed a larger cabin because our guests told us that they wanted to bring more people with them on their next visit. This cabin has now become a great place for gatherings of families or friends.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We have been going to Creek 'n Woods for at least seven years. We have stayed in all the cabins but this one is everyone's favorite. It definitely has a million dollar view. All their cabins are furnished with all the comforts of home. Their is something for everyone. You can spend the whole time just relaxing in the cabin or you can venture out and explore Maggie Valley, Gatlinburg, Biltmore House and much much much more. Tom and Sue are great. They are there to make your stay a time you will not forget.

Great Mountain Cabin

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in Cabin n’ Creek IV for a week and celebrated New Year’s there. We had two families with a total of 9 people (4 adults and 5 kids). Upon arriving in the area, we were met by Tom and Sue. They had us follow them up to the cabin and gave us the grand tour of the home and explained how things worked. I must say, this is the cleanest mountain home we have ever stayed in (and we’ve done a New Year’s mountain trip for 6 years). We had all of the kids stay in the loft bedrooms. There was even a large cubby closet off the loft area that we were able to put a twin blow up mattress in, which became a “bedroom” for one of the children. He loved having his own little cave to sleep in at night. Each couple had their own king beds (main and lower level). All of the beds were comfortable….no aching backs in the mornings. There are three separate “hang out” areas, one on each level. There was enough space for everyone. The decks were awesome. The views were amazing. I personally loved the gas fireplace; flip a switch and instant fire! The TVs were plenty. The linens (bath towels, wash clothes and hot tub towels) were plenty. There was enough paper products supplied for our entire stay. There were plenty of kitchen supplies, even a crock pot we used several times. We absolutely enjoyed the hot tub. It was clean and it worked. It was amazing to sit in the 102 degree tub when it was lightly snowing. The cabin is about 40 minutes from Asheville, so we took a day trip there. It snowed/sleeted the day before we were to leave the cabin. Tom called us to check on the status of the driveway. It was dicey, to say the least. Tom promptly called someone to come spread salt the steep driveway. We were extremely appreciative that he went above and beyond to make sure we were able to get down to the main road safely. Both families agree, this is the best mountain home we have stayed in yet. We definitely recommend staying here. We look forward to another stay at Creek n’ Woods in the future!

Great location for a large family vacation!

  • 5 of 5

Our family had a week-long birthday party at this wonderful cabin in the woods. Sisters, brothers, cousins, grandparents, and a dog came from 3 different states, and we all had plenty of room while having a wonderful time!!! Tom was a wonderful host.

Heaven on earth!

  • 5 of 5

I cannot express enough how perfect this cabin was. The location was truly magical. Beyond expectation. You were in a lovely upscale community but it felt as if you were in the beautiful Smokey Mountains all by yourself. The cabin was perfectly set up and provided anything you can imagine to make your stay most enjoyable. There were 13 of us getting together for a Sibling reunion and many had not seen on another in almost 2 decades. The grounds and home were set up that if we wanted to be together, there was plenty of seating in one location, however if we wanted to spread out you could find your own space. Tom was very gracious and provided every last detail to make our stay even better. We did not need to purchase a single supply for the home. (Not running out of tissue paper alone for a group of 13 for 4 nights is amazing in itself!). The entire family agreed, the pictures do not do this place justice. There is no way to capture the beauty and nature in the photographs. The trip was beyond our expectations and we will certainly be back!
