Welcome to The Reunion House at Lakespell! This recently remodeled 2500 square foot year-round home offers plenty of space for the whole family. Located on the desirable east side of Keuka Lake, magnificent views are enjoyed from here -pictures taken from this location have been published in the local papers and magazines.
You can barbecue by the water on the charcoal grill or use the gas grill on the deck by the house. At the water's edge, we have provided a small refrigerator and serving shed to store provisions until you decide its time to cook.
Walk down to the lakefront by crossing a quiet service road. This road is used by many to bike or stroll along Keuka Lake. Enjoy the private 120 feet of lakefront which includes a combination of wade-in beach and an area with a seawall with three docks to secure your boat or just to use as a fishing pier. We provide 2 kayaks, a canoe and a rowboat for your use. There is a swim platform located off shore for your enjoyment as well.
You will be comfortable in this home with two family rooms, each with a flat screen TV. There are 5+ separate bedrooms: 1 king, 3 queens, 1 with 2 twins, as well as a den with a set of bunk beds(full futon on bottom and twin on top). Additionally,a double futon and a queen sleeper sofa are in the upstairs livingroom to accommodate your guests. Wireless Internet access is available. The fully equipped kitchen was recently remodeled to include a dishwasher, 2 full sized refrigerators, new cabinets, granite counter tops, and a center island to provide additional seating. New carpet throughout and 4 full remodeled bathrooms will make your stay much more enjoyable with a large family. If you run out of clean clothes, use the laundry room located on the first floor near the kitchen.
There are two large decks facing the lake. One is located on the first floor just outside of the kitchen. The other one is on the second floor and can be accessed by each of the two master bedrooms. There are several picnic tables and lawn chairs on both decks and at the beach.
Plenty of parking relieves the stress of guests. There is parking on both level (enough to accommodate approximately 7 cars).
Bring your camera for the sunsets. The views of the lake can be enjoyed from both decks, both living rooms, the kitchen and three of the five bedrooms.
Absolutely Fantastic!! We had 3 different families meet at this incredible home for a reunion. It had everything you could think of and more! Huge kitchen connected to large family room. A lot of fun things to do inside (games, movies, ect.) and hours of fun outside using their kayaks, canoes, swim platform and 3 docks! We had 3 couples with a total of 8 children and there was still room left over for more!! I highly recommend this place !!
14 of us rented the house for a 25th birthday celebration. We stayed the weekend and went wine touring (plenty of vineyards close by). The house is in an awesome location and is very accommodating. We had plenty of sleeping room and everything was in great condition. The lake front area was ideal for relaxing and lounging. The property was a perfect fit for us, and we will definitely be returning back!
We rented the house for our Wineglass marathon weekend. Nice place to relax and enjoy the view.
Another fall weekend at the Keuka Lake. We were a group of 8 and we had more than enough room. One of the 4 bathrooms is off the dining room so don't think you get one for each of the four out of 5 bedrooms like we did, we ended up sharing the one upstairs for showers and just using the 2nd downstairs one as the community go to. This is one of the most well stocked houses we ever stayed in they actually have too much. 2 full size refrigerators and small ones in the two large upstairs room and another down in the back hallway. 2 cofffee pots with at least 3 extra on the shelf. The only down side is that there is not central air. I think it would be better with central air. There is air units in the windows which can be noisy. The downstairs back bedroom did not have one, and the upstairs middle room with the futon bunk, next to the upstairs family area did not, you would have to leave the door open to that family room for air. The other thing is the back bedroom upstairs and down are very small, they would be ok for children. We choose to sleep on the futon in the upstairs living room rather than have the back bedroom. Personally we would have put the twins in the back bedroom downstairs and the double in the front room. At this price I feel like linens should be included. This is actually the first house we rented in a long time without linens. We brought sleeping bags. There is a washer and dryer on site. There are a lot of stairs to the water, they are nicely graded but if you have health issues and can't walk well be aware. There is a small fridge at the lake so you can stock it and not have to carry coolers back and forth. The kayaks, row boats, canoe are an added bonus. Also, no more than 8 people on the upper deck. We did not use at all. The driveway is hard to find. Doors outside the driveway to the upstairs make loading and unloading a breeze. I would rent this house again.
The Reunion House was a perfect home for our extended family to come together for our reunion. We had 12 total adults and children, and with 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and additional sleeping areas, we were all quite comfortable and had privacy. All of the sitting areas, a couple tvs, 2 refrigerators at the house made it very easy living for our group! The House was immaculate, beach area well equipped with all sizes of lifejackets, a canoe, row boat, 2 kayaks...a fire pit for the S'mores!! Lots of seating at the beach area as well as the patio and decks. This is a very well equipped home, we had everything and more than we needed! Beth answered all of my questions and had all details clearly listed. We will definitely rent this house again!
We rented this house and Lakespell, next door. It was perfect. We had a lot of people (filled both houses for 3 days) and did all the cooking and socializing at Reunion house. The people tht got the lake. IWW rooms were thrilled, but every room was comfortable. If there were a recommendation for improvement it would be to have a linen service so that renters did not have to worry about towels and sheets. Not many people have the ability to cover 14 beds and provide that many towels. We found a service called Connect a Service and they were great, but it would,d be nice if it were covered in the rental. Outside of that suggestion, the house and property was perfect. We loved spending our nights at the beach with a fire. We also loved the fact that exercise was built in.....those steps....phew!
