Graduation celebration

  • 5 of 5

My group included my husband & 3 daughters to celebrate my youngest daughter's graduation from a masters program at USC. We had a BBQ and 2 aunts and uncles and about 10 of my daughters friends joined us. The kitchen is nice and big though out dated. We were easily able to prepare the food and serve it on the generous counters. My daughter's friends loved the big yard, swimming and the fire pit. Of course they made S'mores. I loved the floating dock. I would have my morning coffee out there. The movement of the dock is so relaxing and the lake so quiet and peaceful. One of my daughters slept on the screened porch each night and loved it. The temperature was ideal. We had a lovely time. I'm so glad we didn't stay in a hotel.

Great Lake House

  • 5 of 5

We had 7 in our group and the house could not have been more perfect!!! The space in the home is laid out just great for a large family, very open. The house is so rustic and comfy, we loved the oversized screened porch. Beds are very comfortable and plentiful. The house is located on a wonderful cove and has a very nice dock. We swam and caught some big fish!!! The oven does seem to run hot but we just turned down the temp and kept an eye on our food and it was just fine. The owners are very easy to deal with and make you feel at ease. Overall just a great vacation home, we plan on returning ASAP!!!

Week-end birthday celebration

  • 5 of 5

What a great week-end we had at the lake! Our family (10) of us rented this house for a long week-end for my brothers birthday. We had all our family out (26) in all for a barbecue on Sat night and it was perfect. The weather was wonderful and with all the outside sitting we had plenty of room for a cookout. The cooking shed worked out great and the extra large kitchen with bar gave us plenty of room to spread out all the food. The location on the cove has fantastic water views and the grandkids had fun swimming in the lake. Caro was so great to work with, even meeting with my brother prior to signing the contract to show the house! Thanks again, Caro for a great time!

Masters Golf Week

  • 5 of 5

Our group of 8 golfers stayed in this home for Masters week 2011, and thorougly enjoyed it. Everything you need is supplied, the furnishings and beds are just as comfy as home. The property is very quiet but is just a short trip to the grocery stores. The golf courses in the area are very good, and a pontoon boat ride over to Timberlake G & CC is highly recommended. The lake is very clean, and there is so much to see out there. We were there during a fierce storm and the owners were in contact with us helping with anything they could. Great people to deal with. This is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy time with family and friends.

Very peaceful vacation home

  • 4 of 5

We totally enjoyed the peace and quietness of this home and are definately planning on returning again. The house was very well maintained and supplied with everything that you need to enjoy your stay. The kids really enjoyed the fishing and the swimming area. There is space for at least 3 boats at the dock. The exterior area of the house is well shaded and was cool even during the 90 degree weather. The grill area was one of our very favorite place to enjoy during our stay.

Relaxing vacation property out in the wood.

  • 5 of 5

We rented this house for a family reunion of sorts and had ten to thirteen people there at any given time. The property was very secluded and beautiful and perfect for a nice relaxing week but close enough to town that we managed to go to Walmart about every other day and my brother who is on dialysis was able to have treatments twice in Leesville while we were there. The fish weren't really biting that week but it was really fun trying as the water front was right out the back door. We had a great time grilling one night out in the cooking shed and was able to avoid alot of expense eating out by preparing most meals in the well stocked kitchen. The beds were very comfortable, in fact my brother said one of them was the most comfortable he had ever slept in. I personally enjoyed the sleeping porch especially the night it was pouring down rain. We did miss internet access but we were supposed to be on vacation, right? Overall it was a very nice experience and I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.
