About Heather Bailey
I originally moved to Savannah in 2000 to teach Industrial Design at SCAD, & I immediately fell in love with the beauty, charm and nuances of this gem of a city. In 2005, I yearned for a new adventure so I left teaching and purchased the home and spent over 2 years designing and creating the perfect 'home away from home!'
Heather Bailey purchased this Apartment in 2005
Why Heather Bailey chose Historic District - North
This home was a real charmer with it's large Live Oak tree out front and in a perfect location! Since it hadn't been redone, we were able to save so much of the original details that are so often taken out in many renovations. Kept it historic, but also updated it in a stylish yet appropriate way. I love the neighborhood feel yet, so close to restaurants and shopping in the historic district.
What makes this Apartment unique
Unlike other owners or management companies, we offer a very personal touch which includes meeting all our guests at the home for check-in, and providing customized walking maps with points of interests and recommended tours, shopping, and restaurants. I pride myself on offering extremely personalized service, realizing that each and every guest and their visit is special. Since we live locally in Savannah, we are available anytime both before and during your stay for any questions or assistance needed. I look forward to hosting you at the Savannah Pied-a-terre, and showing you why Savannah is considered the Hostess City of the South!

My husband and I have stayed in
multiple hotels and vacation rentals in Savannah. I can honestly say Heather’s property is in our top two. We arrived at 11:00 pm and Heather happily met us for a check in /walk through of the flat. The top floor on McDonough is a perfect lay out for two. We did not need to purchase any house hold necessities during our stay. Heather thought of everything.
The flat is located in a neighborhood with a couple free parking spots if you’re lucky. If you’re not lucky parking is only $1/hourly instead of $2/ hourly. If you have no car no worries. You are able to walk to all Savannah has to offer and know after a lovely day of exploring you will be able to come back to a cool, comfy retreat.
I will not hesitate to stay at this flat next time my husband and I are in Savannah.
21st Anniversary Getaway
My husband and I had a wonderful time! Ms. Bailey is an excellent host. Everything was neat and very well organized. Her attention to detail of things that maybe needed is greatly appreciated and a pleasant surprise! The bed was comfortable and the linens were top notch. Location is great walking distance to most sites and restaurants. Always felt safe and people are very friendly.
Great Location, Great Amenities!
Heather was a fantastic and accommodating host. The space was comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. We enjoyed the bikes and proximity to everything. We were even able to take advantage of the few free parking spaces around the corner! The only downside was the noise from street traffic---my husband and I are light sleepers.
Great romantic space in the heart of historic Savannah
My wife and I highly recommend this amazing romantic apartment in Savannah. The location is perfect - walking distance to every thing. The comfort and coziness made this the ideal weekend getaway. Everything was there for out use. Nothing was missing. Amazing hospitality. Parking available right outside the front door. We couldn’t have asked for more.
Great place, location, very clean!

Lovely Savannah apartment in historic district
This was our first trip to Savannah, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The apartment was cozy and comfortable. Heather added many homey touches that enhanced our experience. She also gave us many wonderful dining recommendations. The location was ideal - away from the crowds, but within easy walking distance to the squares and historic homes. We highly recommend it.
5 minute walk to River St or Forsyth Park. Centrally located in the Historic District; walk to restaurants, bars, walking tours, ghost tours, carriage rides, and museums. Two bikes for your use during your stay!
