Pixie Terrace Chester is a individual/family run business and my primary concern is to ensure our guests experience a genuinely unique venue which is cleaned and maintained by myself. I pride on attention to detail and aim to provide my guests with the personal touch looking after their every need from the initial booking enquiry, to ensuring Pixie Terrace Chester is spotlessly clean and greeting guests with a warm welcome. Pixie Terrace Chester has been transformed into the most beautiful two bedroom getaway, perfect for either two couples or a family sleeping a maximum of four (plus provide cot so could be 5) If you are looking for a character property which retains all of its original charm then you have found what you are looking for within Pixie Terrace Chester with permit parking in the city.Pixie Terrace Chester is a lovely two bedroomed city townhouse, within 5 minutes walk from the beautiful and historic city of Chester. Located in the Garden Quarter the property is less than 2 minutes walk from small supermarket/ convenience stores, fast food takeaways, local pubs, butchers and a launderette. The property is more than 100 years old but has gone a full restoration boasting a brand new kitchen, bathroom suite, carpets and furnishings. Both bedrooms have wardrobe storage and double beds. Kitchen has fitted oven and hob, dishwasher and fridge freezer. The living room consists of a four seat dining table, and lounge seating for 4. flat screen digital TV, DVD player and I pod / I phone docking station. A small courtyard at the rear of the property along with outside dining furniture. Free Wifi available.A car is not needed however there is free on street parking in the area. The property also has a free allocated permit parking space approx 100 yds from the house. The property is an ideal base for those that wish to explore Chester with its medieval buildings, famous roman walls and fabulous museums, or visit its plentiful supply of restaurants and quality shops. The welsh coastline can be reached within 30 minutes drive and the welsh hills in less than 20. Two train stations are approx. 20 minutes walk away or cheap taxi ride, with regular connections to Liverpool 30 mins, Manchester 40 mins and London only taking approx. 2hrs 9 mins. The world famous Chester zoo is less than 5 mins drive away, and Cheshire Oaks Designer outlet a further 5 mins. Chester Racecourse has various meetings throughout the year on its famous oldest recorded race course.The property is situated in the garden quarter named from the gardens and orchards of the roman city. Today it houses an eclectic mix of people; families, visitors, professionals and students from the neighbouring University.

This property to me is ideally located, within strolling distance of the historic city of Chester. It always surprises me of all the different walking routes you can take from the property to visit the canal network, River Dee footpath, racecourse and historic walls.

What makes this house unique

Pixie terrace is a unique city centre experience, here you can bring your car and be in the remoteness of North Wales within 15 minutes drive or be in the centre of Chester with all its historic buildings and stories to tell, bustling street life, restaurants and bars, live entertainment within less than 5 minutes walk.

Chester is an excellent base for exploring also the Wirral peninsula, Cities of Liverpool & Manchester and you are approx. 90 minutes away from the Lake District.

Immaculate two bedroom cottage

Very clean and tidy cottage which had the benefit of local amenities on the doorstep and only a five minute walk to the centre of Chester. The cottage had everything needed for a home from home experience, and there were extras provided (tea, coffee, milk, cakes and some toiletries) which was a nice touch. I have hired many cottages over the past thirty years and this one is one of the best. Would definitely recommend and also return. Thanks for a lovely weekend stay.

Clean, comfortable and with a convenient location

We four adults were very happy with the accommodation. The cottage was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Having only showers at home, both the guys loved the luxury of having (separate) baths, and hogged the bathroom each evening! The cottage is a short walk to the town centre, and it's downhill all the way back with your purchases. We even got enough March sunshine to enjoy sitting in the little sheltered courtyard! A great holiday.

Just right

We had a lovely stay at Pixie Terrace; it was spotless, had everything we needed, a short walk into the centre of Chester and we always found a parking spot right outside. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely cottage

Pixie cottage is a lovely house. The 2 bedrooms are spacious and the beds are really comfortable. Hayley was very helpful and the welcome extras were great. The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed - 2 couples and a toddler. In addition the location was great, 5 minutes to the town centre. We will definitely return.

Pixie terrace

Property was spotlessly clean. Contained everything you could possibly need . Very comfortable and well maintained. Location is ideal for visiting Chester and surrounding areas. Parking was never a problem . Nice little welcome package upon arrival. Would I stay here again ?....most definitely .

What a great place to stay for a visit to Chester

Stayed here for New Year. Great location as only takes a few minutes to walk to the city centre, and benefits from a private parking space just up the road, as well as parking right outside the door. Property has everything you need and kitchen is extremely well equipped should you cook. Takeaways and convenience stores literally just around the corner. Property is very well presented, clean and decorated to a high standard and would definitely stay here again.
