The Barn is ideally located for cyclists and walkers, and for the perfect peaceful get away, there is a private garden which is enclosed together with storage for bicycles.
For cyclists Lockwood Barn is ideally situated close to the 'Moor to sea Cycle Network' which connect Scarborough, Whitby, Dalby Forest , Pickering and Great Ayton in a stunning series of moorland, forest & coastal loops.
The historic market towns of Kirbymoorside, Helmsley, Pickering & Malton are easily reached, for all local amenities, including places to eat out. Places of interest including Nunnington Hall, the museum of rural life at Hutton-le-Hole & Castle Howard are on the doorstep to Lockwood Barn.
Travel across the Moors to Whitby and along the coastal route to Scarborough for a family day out along the breath taking coast.

The en-suite has a large square bath with shower and full shower screen. With fitted units W.C hand basin, vanity mirror with shaver point and tiled through-out.
The stairs lead from the hallway to the first floor which comprises of
Mezzanine floor - with daybed and new carpet to mezzanine and bedrooms.

The property benefits from off road parking and secure garden with patio area and parking for two vehicles together with storage for bicycles .
Beautifully converted barn with lovely comfortable open plan living space and wood burning stove. Well off the beaten track and delightfully quiet. No wifi and very limited phone coverage. Ideal to get away from the modern world for a few days.
Lovely little barn conversion. Very clean and cosy with all modern conveniences and situated in a quiet location. I would certainly book this accommodation again if I return to the area for another holiday.

Weekly bookings from Saturday to Saturday
Short breaks are also available.
The property will be available from 3.00 pm on day of arrival & departure by 10.00 am. Key details given before arrival.
We ask for a 50% non- refundable deposit and the balance to be paid not less than 4 weeks before date of arrival. We do not accept credit cards so payment should be made by cheque or BACS.
Late bookings we ask for full payment by BACS at time of booking
