Kollberg is an idyllic situated small farm with cogged wooden 1940s. The place is rich in history, is situated with panoramic views over the village Lårdal in Tokke Municipality. The main house has renovated bathroom with shower, kitchen and 3 bedrooms. There is room for 5 people, but if desired, additional beds inserted.

There is a fridge / freezer, oven and washing machine on site. We rent out both with and without linen and towels.

Electricity is included in the rent.

Great views, big house, but need ladder to bathroom

  • 4 of 5

Torstein was pretty nice when we arrived. Big house, very quiet, great location with fantastic views of lake and mountains. Our 3 kids loved running around outside and exploring.

A few things to be aware of. Sheets and towels provided, but you must bring your own soap, shampoo, and even toilet paper. We asked Torstein, but he said TP is definitely NOT included, so we had to make an emergency trip to the store. The toilet and shower are in the cellar, down a ladder through a trap door in the floor. A little difficult to do at night, and we only almost fell through the trap door once. The shower has no light. It is a country house, so we had some bugs and ants inside, and a small mole wriggled through a hole in the basement. The kids had fun catching it and putting it back outside. Beds old and soft, and main bedroom doesn't have dark blinds at all. This seemed to be pretty common in Norway though, so expect to have bright light pouring in early in the morning in the summer.

Honestly, price was right, and as long as you expect these things, we would recommend the place.

Flot udsigt - fred og ro - hyggelig hytte

  • 5 of 5
