Refurbished in a nineteenth century in the center of Madrid, in the Chueca neighborhood, on Liberty Street. Nestled in the historic center, you can enjoy the peace and quiet of its streets, in a neighborhood with a history that offers a wide variety of entertainment and dining so typical of Madrid and internationally. A few steps from the Mercado de San Anton, de Cibeles and Gran Via. It located in an inner 4th lift.

The apartment was central, clean, comfy and the check-in very smooth (despite us arriving very late at night). We loved the neighborhood - lively, with lots of little restaurants and bars, and very safe. Vivares and the Bee Bar were some of our favorite hangouts.
Great location in the heart of all the action. Cozy home, although we did not prepare our meals the kitchen is well equip. Was there with my teenage grandchildren and felt very safe there and throughout Madrid. Maria Isabel and her husband are lovely and helpful in directing and researching a cobbler. Loved Madrid and would stay at this flat again. Thank you for a wonderful experience .
We stayed here for a few days of holiday with no prior knowledge of Madrid. The location was fantastic and in the heart of nightlife in Madrid. We walked to many of the sights of Madrid and loved the convenience. We had an issue with our planned stay in Barcelona and they were able to accommodate us staying in Madrid an additional night as well, which was greatly appreciated. Their response time with all communication was excellent and we would stay here again. Highly recommended.
Whilst booking our stay here, we received very prompt and useful information. On arrival at the apartment Maribel and her husband (?) were waiting by the door to receive us. Maribel speaks good English. Her husband drove with me to show me where the nearby underground car park was located (though ideally you do not want to visit Madrid by car as the parking charges are high). The apartment was about as good as it gets. Two bedrooms, a pleasant sitting room, a well equipped kitchen and lovely bathroom. The apartment is well furnished, pleasantly decorated and exceptionally clean. It is located several floors up in an old building, though there is a lift. As in any apartment building there is some risk of hearing noise from adjacent flats, but it was quiet when we were there. One walks out of the building into the streets of central Madrid, the galleries of the Prado and the Thyssen are an easy walk away, as are lots of stylish bars and shops selling great food. We had not been to Madrid before and were delighted with what we found. We thought Maribel and her husband were delightful hosts and would highly recommend staying here. We certainly hope to return and stay again ourselves.
My husband, daughter and I stay in this lovely place and we enjoyed so much. This place is just perfect to accommodate any type of guest regardless their age. The location is great. You have all fun-action just outside the door, and plenty good food on the same block. In the corner there is a spectacular food market, and a grocery store on the opposite corner. The tourist bus stop is about 3 blocks away, as well as all the shopping area near by Gran Via. Sightseeing is just to walking distant. The subway is one block away. You can arrive to this place by subway (metro), station Chueca. The apartment is very comfortable with A/C (a plus, since not all apartments in Madrid has A/C and you will need it to sleep), and very well equipped. The hostess are very nice, friendly and happy people. We highly recommend this place. Thanks again to the hostess for their great hospitality. We hope to come back :) Adriana and Eric.
The apartment is located 500 meters from the Plaza de Cibeles where you can enjoy a pleasant walk through the Puerta de Alcala to arrive in less than 15 minutes to Retiro Park. Rent a rowboat, visit the Crystal Palace, its ducks and swans. Do not forget to visit the Rose Garden Retreat, and the beautiful garden with stunning Cecilio Rodriguez cut cypress pergolas and beautiful peacocks tails. If you like to practice Tai Chi or meditation outdoors on Sundays Retreat it is ideal for it and you will find many groups they join.
Scroll Gran Via with its shops, cinemas and theaters. Be sure to visit the Mercado de San Miguel, bordering the Plaza Mayor, where you can enjoy an amazing array of dining options to take "tapas".
In the afternoon or evening approach the Plaza de Chueca one of its many outdoor terraces.
If you want culture in the Paseo axis Prado-Recoletos, just 500 meters away, you can visit the National Library, Archaeological Museum, Museo de Cera, Museo del Prado, Thyssen Museum, Botanical Garden and Reina Sofia Museum, all while walks among the famous fountain of Cibeles and Neptune Fountain, city emblems.
Of course it is a must to set foot on the kilometer 0, from where you start counting distances across the country. To do so close to the Puerta del Sol and in the shadow of the famous clock Government may observe on the ground it marks the beginning of all roads. Climb down the street Espoz and Mina and find pedestrian streets with a variety of national and international restaurants. Do not leave Madrid without tasting the famous "squid sandwich" accompanied by a beer, the famous "patatas bravas" or "omelette brava" or our "churros and batons" with a good chocolate or latte. And if you approach the Plaza Mayor falls Cuchilleros arch and go up the Cava de San Miguel to the market of the same name, look at the slope of the walls, surely these stones will remind you of a pirate port.
