Clisham is situated in the elevated quiet residential area of Feddon Hill in Fortrose affording guests spectacular views over Chanonry Point, the Moray Firth and Fort George and Inverness-shire to the south.

Clisham is a bungalow so all rooms are on the same floor.

Lounge/Dining room

Settee and 2 armchairs, electric fire, TV with Freeview channels, DVD, radio, south facing window with views over the Moray Firth. Dining area with table and 4 chairs. There is a selection of books.

Kitchen

Electric oven and ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine/dryer, microwave oven, dishwasher, iron & ironing board. Plenty crockery, cutlery, utensils, pans and dishes.

Main bedroom – double bed, built in wardrobe, bedside cabinets, dressing table with mirror. There is a hairdryer.

Second bedroom – 2 single beds, wardrobe, bedside cabinets.

Bathroom – bath with overhead electric shower, wash hand basin and wc.

Outside – there is a garage suitable for storage of bikes and outdoor equipment. The garden is grassed front and back with a private seating area in the back garden. There is a private driveway suitable for parking 1 car. Additional parking is on the street. The house is on a cul-de-sac.

We had a wonderful time in Fortrose. The house was great and very well equipped. And we could see lambs and horses from the bedroom window which we appreciated.

Wonderful, peaceful place to relax and unwind, yet easy reach of town, city, countryside, coast

This was a second visit to Clisham for us. It is a lovely bungalow, very comfortable and spotless. It is also lovelt to come back after a day out, to a quiet, peaceful place. It was just what we needed - time and place to relax, unwind, but also within easy reach of Inverness, Dingwall, Loch Ness and also Dornoch and further north.

There is something for everyone - walking, sea, country, activities, tours etc.

Owner is very obliging and went to no end of trouble to help us when the electric key we had put money into one day did not download to the meter - the fault of the mechanism at the post office machine we had used when out touring during the day. She travelled 20 miles or so to get to us, and then arranged for the local PO to add more to the key and inserted it - magic!

Family holiday

I found the accommodation very good, but just a little too far to walk into the village. The view from the living room was very nice with views over the bay. Would I stay again? Yes it was a great base to explore the delights Scotland has to offer.

Car: recommended

From the south – Take the A9 north over the Kessock Bridge at Inverness.

Turn right toward Munlochy then right again as you leave Munlochy heading toward Fortrose.

As you enter Fortrose turn left after you pass the McGinty's Fish & Chip shop.

Head up the hill and follow the signs to Feddon Hill.

Turn first right then first right again. Clisham is No34 at the top of the cul-de-sac on the right.
