About the property

2 Bedrooms, 2 Shower Rooms With Lovely Views

Garn Barn has an upside down layout so you can relax and take in the wonderful views.

Two ground floor bedrooms. One with a superking size double and the second smaller bedroom with kingsize bed which can be configured as a twin room. Downstairs wet room & upstairs toilet & shower. There is also a double sofa bed in the lounge.

Fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge & dishwasher.Washing machine in farmhouse if needed.

Lovely patio area with table & chairs. Own enclosed garden. Exterior sloped access to the downstairs as well as internal staircase. Suitable for persons with limited mobility. Large parking area.

The barn was originally a tumble down cart shed which has been renovated. It is set on our smallholding. There are chicken (fresh eggs), sheep, pygmy goats, & our two small dogs

There is direct access to the common land. You can walk straight onto the Preseli hills from the top of our land.

The county town of Cardigan is 15 mins drive away as is the coast at Newport. It is situated in a great location for touring the area.

Although our barn is conveniently situated directly off of the A478, our drive is 200m long so we are well away from the road.

The village of Crymych has all the ameneties you need. There is a butchers, chemist, doctors surgery, spar shop, fuel station to name but a few. There is a swimming pool & leisure centre in the village & also a private gym nearby.

About Teresa

I moved to Pembrokeshire in 2012 to escape the 'rat race'.

I come from the Arundel area of West Sussex. Although West Sussex is a beautiful area of the country, it is quite heavily populated & I decided that I would like to have more space to enjoy my middle age.

Now I spend my days trying to get the smallholding tidied up & enjoying all the things that Pembrokeshire & Ceredigion has to offer.

Teresa purchased this barn in 2012

Why Teresa chose Crymych

I spent a long time searching for the smallholding. Although there were many similar properties for sale at the time, in really lovely locations, I felt that Maes y Garn had the right balance. It is rural but not remote. There is everything you want in the village of Crymych, which can be reached on foot.

What makes this barn unique

The upside down layout makes the most of the lovely views.

Very comfortable and excellent value for money

This is the perfect location for families visiting Pembrokeshire. The cottage is recently converted with modern kitchen and two shower rooms. Very clean and comfortable. Teresa generously provides all sorts of goodies for breakfast and snacks. We had a super enjoyable stay and will certainly rent this location again when we are back in the region.

Lovely cottage

We had a lovely stay in this lovely holiday cottage in September. The cottage is beautiful and has everything you could need and more including some starter groceries which were very nice. The area is lovely and we enjoyed some great coastal walks and visits to local castles etc. We had a couple of days of rain but the cottage was a great place to come back to and relax.

Lovely Cottage & Great Owners

Just back from a week's stay at Garn Barn. The location is great - right on the edge of Pembrokeshire National Park and Preseli Hills. Close to Crymych, which has a pub, shops and a petrol station. Also not far from Cardigan, which has supermarkets and restaurants. It's also a good location for visiting all areas of Pembrokeshire, including St Davids, Tenby, Pembroke and Freshwater Bay. The cottage is lovely and the owners have been kind enough to leave everything you could possibly need - including an incredibly generous amount of food! Would recommend this property to others without hesitation.

Lovely!

We stayed at Garn Barn last week and it was perfect for a quiet break. We were met with a really warm welcome and the accommodation was immaculate. It's in a great location with everything we needed. I've already recommended to friends and we'll definitely be visiting again!

Amazing newly refurbished cottage, great view

We lived there for 3 nights and really enjoyed our wonderful stay. Cottage is nicely refurbished, very well designed.It is in a great location and relaxing environment. Teresa is very friendly and caring, she allowed us to play around with sheep , dogs and E.C.T

We highly recommend this lovely cottage, if someone is looking for a relaxing day out.
