Pembrokeshire Barn Rental Photos and Description

2 Bedrooms, 2 Shower Rooms With Lovely Views

Garn Barn has an upside down layout so you can relax and take in the wonderful views.

Two ground floor bedrooms. One with a superking size double and the second smaller bedroom with kingsize bed which can be configured as a twin room. Downstairs wet room & upstairs toilet & shower. There is also a double sofa bed in the lounge.

Fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge & dishwasher.Washing machine in farmhouse if needed.

Lovely patio area with table & chairs. Own enclosed garden. Exterior sloped access to the downstairs as well as internal staircase. Suitable for persons with limited mobility. Large parking area.

The barn was originally a tumble down cart shed which has recently been renovated. It is set on our smallholding. There are chicken (fresh eggs), sheep, pygmy goats, & our two small dogs

There is direct access to the common land. You can walk straight onto the Preseli hills from the top of our land.

The county town of Cardigan is 15 mins drive away as is the coast at Newport. It is situated in a great location for touring the area.

Although our barn is conveniently situated directly off of the A478, our drive is 200m long so we are well away from the road.

The village of Crymych has all the ameneties you need. There is a butchers, chemist, doctors surgery, spar shop, fuel station to name but a few. There is a swimming pool & leisure centre in the village & also a private gym nearby.

About Teresa & Mark

Mark & I moved to Pembrokeshire in 2012 to escape the 'rat race'.

We both come from the Arundel area of West Sussex. Although West Sussex is a beautiful area of the country, it is quite heavily populated & we decided that we would like to have more space to enjoy our middle age.

Now we spend our days trying to get our smallholding tidied up & enjoying all the things that Pembrokeshire & Ceredigion has to offer.

Why Teresa & Mark chose Wales

We spent a long time searching for our smallholding. Although there were many similar properties for sale at the time, in really lovely locations, but we felt that Maes y Garn had the right balance. It is rural but not remote. There is everything you want in the village of Crymych, which can be reached by foot.

Perfect place to stay

Welcoming hosts. Well appointed, comfortable accommodation. Large welcome pack - the best we have ever been given. The king size bed was so comfortable we had trouble waking up! It is very helpful to have a toilet on both floors if you have mobility problems.

Nice view from the lounge window. Peace in abundance. Very central for visiting this corner of Wales.

Highly recommended. Garn Barn would be our first choice if we visited Pembrokeshire again

We had a wonderful holiday, the accommodation was perfect in every way. it was spotlessly clean and beautifully designed and decorated. It was very cosy and well equipped. the outside had lovely views and we were surrounded by countryside and animals. There was a very private patio area and driveway. The owners were the friendliest we have ever met, very kind and hospitable. We will definatley be booking again, cant wait to visit all the beautiful beaches again. Clean and spacious

Mark and Teresa are amazing hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Very welcoming and easy to chat to. Mark was great with our son letting him feed the animals and even drive the tractor. Barn was very clean and spacious with a great size kitchen. Has everything you need. Really comfortable big bed. Welcome pack of milk, eggs, bread, cheese, even wine was lovely touch and very much appreciated.

The area is beautiful and the walk we did from our doorstep over the fields and up the hill was fantastic.

Loads to do in the area. We liked Newport, New Quay, Porthgain, Strumble Head, Goodwick to name a few.

Plenty of nice places to eat within driving distance. We also enjoyed cooking together in the barn with the peaceful views outside.

Check out Kayak King in Fishguard and Llain activity centre for some memorable experiences.

Highly recommend. Hope to be back.

Absolutely Amazing

Amazing property and amazing hosts, there was a fantastic welcome hamper with everything we needed on arrival, this is the most idyllic place for a relaxing holiday in the west wales countryside. The cottage is very well equipped and lovely and clean and spacious. We will definitely return on a regular basis as we loved everything about it. Teresa and Marks animals also added to our enjoyment feeding the lively but lovely goats. Thank you so much for our stay, Karl, Heather, Hannah and Jack

Beautiful cottage in a stunning location!

We had a wonderful stay at this property (June 2016). Mark and Teresa have done an incredible job with the cottage which is beautifully finished with everything you could need. The beams, flagstone floor and stunning views to mention a few. The bed was heavenly too - SO comfortable! We loved exploring the local area and visiting the sights in Tenby, Barafundle and Porthgain. Teresa and Mark really go the extra mile with the goodies they leave in the fridge to ensure a very pleasant welcome. Would highly recommend. A perfect base for exploring this beautiful part of Wales. We loved it!

This was our second visit. The barn itself is fantastic, fitted to a high spec with everything you need

The site is excellent. You can go for walks and feed the animals.

Mark and Teresa were friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them.
