2 Bedrooms, 2 Shower Rooms With Lovely Views
I moved to Pembrokeshire in 2012 to escape the 'rat race'. I come from the Arundel area of West Sussex. Although West Sussex is a beautiful area of the country, it is quite heavily populated & I decided that I would like to have more space to enjoy my middle age. Now I spend my days trying to get the smallholding tidied up & enjoying all the things that Pembrokeshire & Ceredigion has to offer.
Teresa purchased this Barn in 2012
Why Teresa chose Crymych
I spent a long time searching for the smallholding. Although there were many similar properties for sale at the time, in really lovely locations, I felt that Maes y Garn had the right balance. It is rural but not remote. There is everything you want in the village of Crymych, which can be reached on foot.
What makes this Barn unique
The upside down layout makes the most of the lovely views.

- We are quite relaxed but would expect the barn to be left in the condition it was in.
Another Lovely Stay
Just returned from another lovely stay. The property is beautifully presented with everything you could need. The welcoming selection of food has something for everyone. Plenty of places to visit within comfortable reach and a good local shop including bakery.
We went to Tenby and Carmarthen and also managed to see some seal pups on the Marloes Peninsula.
Weather was good for the time of year and it is lovely to stay somewhere so quiet yet with access to so much.
Beautiful peaceful cottage in the heart of Pembrokeshire
Really enjoyed our stay in the cottage. We went all over Pembrokeshire, with some lovely beaches in the North. Always nice to know we could come back to the cottage with no issues about trying to park nearby or other people about. Once the kids were asleep it was a real tranquil evening where you felt there was no one else around
Supremely Relaxing Break in Pembrokeshire
Everything about our stay at Garn Barn was top class, from the high standard of the accommodation to the generous welcome pack. Teresa was an excellent host - friendly, responsive and very easy to contact whilst also being unobtrusive. This made for a completely hassle-free holiday experience.
Garn Barn is located within the Pembrokeshire National Park, immediately next to the Preseli Hills and within easy driving distance of Tenby, St. David’s and all of Pembrokeshire’s many attractions. Whilst we enjoyed good weather during our stay, the Barn was a cosy retreat so it would have been no hardship if we’d had to stay in for a day or two.
We booked for a week but wished we could have stayed longer. All in all highly recommended.
Clean and Peaceful
We had a lovely stay with everything provided that we could have needed. Great accomodation with beautiful views from the lounge area. Always good to have downstairs bedrooms too as they are so much more cool and comfortable.
We made good use of the outdoor seating for relaxation in the sun.
Delightful upside-down barn conversion
We had a lovely week in Garn Barn. It is beautifully furnished with lots of thoughtful details. Extremely comfortable 6ft wide bed! And the wet room and shower room were excellent too.
Good location, only 25min to the coast of Newport, and good access to attractions further inland.
There's a nice private garden with table and chairs outside - if you get the weather for it!
Teresa and Mark were very welcoming and helpful, but we also felt we had our privacy. Nice to get fresh eggs & homegrown veg from the bottom of the lane.
Would definitely recommend this property and would love to come back!
Thank you for your kind comments. It's good to know that I am getting things right.
You would all be very welcome back.
