Vermont's Quaintness

  • 5 of 5

We loved the Red House! The house has a Vermont feel, it’s cozy and tastefully decorated with artifacts of the past. The house is very spacious so don’t be discouraged that there is only 2 bedrooms. It’s rustic so if you have kids or dogs it quite nice not having to worry about an updated/trendy house.

It was great to be able to walk out the door and go hiking. We didn’t have any snow when we stayed but it’s obvious that you could go snow shoeing from the house as well…when there’s now of course.

We loved downtown Grafton, also had a quaint Vermont feel about it. Every option for eating/dining is great! No need to list them because there is only 3. Grafton Ponds has several options for outdoor activities too. If you want to ski, then there is nothing better than having several mountains to choose from and returning to peace & quiet and a roaring fire in the huge fireplace.

I would definitely recommend if you truly love Vermont and/or want to experience what Vermont is all about…it’s right here. Bring some dog cookies for the friendly dog next door who comes to visit.

Jessica coordinated our visit and was great to work with. We will be back and can't wait.
