After looking at the photos and reading the reviews we had high hopes for the apartment. However, the reality is that we agree wholeheartedly with the writer of the one "negative" comment. While the apartment was in a quiet location, not far from the station, was very clean and a good size and value for London there were some minuses.

Although the apartment looks spacious in the photos there is far too much furniture and "stuff" and it is all too large for the size of the rooms . The 3 of us are not "clinically overweight" or "determined not to enjoy ourselves" as suggested in the owner's reply to the 3* comment. On the contrary we are all of normal weight and did have a great time. The TV was so huge that the picture was blurred and you could see all the pixels as you could only sit about 2 metres away. And it was difficult to move around the rooms. With 6 people it would be a nightmare. The beds, though comfortable, were so low it was difficult getting in and out of them for us older people. The site quotes items of furniture with costs and origins but we found most of it to be ugly and impractical. There was nowhere we could put our suitcases - we were away for 6 weeks and were travelling with a reasonable amount of luggage - and this was because the furniture took up so much room. And what is the huge mirror in the living area all about? Maybe if less had been spent of the exorbitantly priced and impractial bedside lamp from Harrods in the main bedroom there might have been enough money in the budget to buy a bedside light for the 2nd bedroom!

The biggest annoyance of all was that there was only 1 key for the outside gate. Apparently a previous guest had accidentally taken the other one home and a replacement hadn't been provided. This was most inconvenient as the 3 of us had different plans each day and we somehow had to try and coordinate times of return so that no one was left standing outside in the cold. There were no instructions on how to operate the heating but fortunately it didn't get too cold to need it.

Fab apartment in great location !

Lovely apartment, very clean and well equipped. Loved the balcony !

We are a family of four and there was plenty of room . Well located for transport links to Central London and don't forget to visit Greenwich which is close by!

Owner is really helpful too - we had a brilliant holiday and will definitely be returning . Thank you so much ! 😊

Very clean and impressive

The accommodation was perfect for our family's stay in London. It was very clean and well equipped with everything we could possibly need.

The furniture and accessories were very modern and comfortable. It was a pleasure to come 'home' every evening.

The location is ideal. It is a five minute walk to two grocery stores and less to a convenience store. The bus stops are within a five minute walk and the '15' bus takes you to most major attractions in the city.

The DLR is a couple more minutes, with a fantastic service to Greenwich and all attractions.

We will definitely return to this great spot.

Location was okay accessible to transportation but not subway. To get there take a cab or you have to drag your luggage in areas where theres stairs only/subway! Grocery store next door was great! Balcony was tiny 2 person max. Apartment is 2-3 DLR stops from Carnary Wharf. Close quarters for 4 adults. Coffee table was oversized for the sitting room and too much furniture generally.

Modern, clean, well equipped great for short stays. Umbrellas were supplied and it was secure location.

Owner's Response: WOW! My first ever negative review. Some 50+ full 5 star reviews over all the websites I advertise on tell a very different story. As other reviews & the photos show – the apartment is far from adequate – it’s deluxe in everyway possible and statistically larger than London average. The apartment caters for 6 people & all rooms & furniture is exactly as shown in the photographs. These guests were clinically overweight & disliked all aspects of their trip – not liking public transport & indeed London at all. I helped them so much. But hey in life “we can not win them all” and please everybody :-/

Great central location

Great location for a fantastic modern apartment close to public transport into town. Plenty of room for 2 adults plus 3 teenagers.

Everything as described, however some delays getting wifi set up. Deposit returned on schedule.

Clean and in perfect condition

Would definitely reccomend to a friend.
