About Michael L. Garcia
My wife and I have been in the real estate business in Denver, CO for close to forty years. We took a leap of faith and decided to try international real estate. We love this area of Cancun and go down with our son three times a year for detailed upkeep on the place. The water in this area is calm enough for children.
Michael L. Garcia purchased this Condo in 1999
Why Michael L. Garcia chose Cancún
We looked everywhere from Cozumel to Playa del Carmen to Cancun for a place to buy. This condo was a good buy for our family and was still the real Mexico. It is not overly Americanized with Pizza Hut, Outback Steakhouse, McDonald's, etc. The area is a small fishing village just three miles north of downtown Cancun. The palapa style restaurants in the area serve the catch of the day.

Our 2 week stay in the Cancun area was very enjoyable m. Wonderful food! Nice people.
The condo was similar to the pictures on VRBO but furniture was different from the pictures, and not as comfortable as we had hoped. I thought it was a great value for the price. It was close enough to the Cancun Hotel Zone so if you wanted what that area had to offer, it was easily accessible 15 minutes away. But, we preferred to stay near the condo and the nice beach at our doorsteps. Ferries to Isla Mujeres were just down the street a couple of miles. Very convenient for a change of scenery. A really nice escape from the winter temperatures.
Amazing little getaway
We spent 4 nights at Michael's house, the complex was a tad bit dated but honestly for the price you pay it is 100% worth it. Michael and his property manager Frankie were EXTREMELY helpful with giving directions on how to access services, Atms etc. There were ZERO critters, kitchen was stocked with anything you would need for a quiet stay. The house is a bit far from a proper grocery store. So stop at Soriana on the way and grab some food! The beach out front was pretty much empty and the water fine for swimming, there was very little Sargasso. If it interests you head on down the road for a walk and check out el Meco, it was 55 pesos per adult, and it was amazing we were the ONLY family there! Thank you SO much Michael for hosting our family!!! Thank you Frankie for meeting us and showing us around
Everything was just like the pictures and description .
Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay. It was like we were on our own private beach. The condo was on the beach just like we were promised. The view from the condo was breathtaking. We had to go in town to buy 5 beach towels and a hair dryer because they were not provided , but that was easily accomplished by just waving down a taxi right outside the condo. We would love to come back again.
Beautiful safe location
We had a amazing time at this location. Great host that was very helpful with getting around and tips for Mexico Place was great!!!
We were promptly greeted by Frank whom was courteous and explained a bit of local life and attractions. We had an issue with the AC and the internet (kids couldn’t live without it during down time) that Frank was sure to get taken care without delay. It was an excellent place to rest from all the activities and running around.
Nice unit, a little dated but nice in a decent location away from the Zona Hotel.
Decent location. Not in the hotel zone but close to cheap transportation. Nice 2br unit but a little bit dated. Overall a good deal.
The condo is located on the mainland directly across from the island Isla Mujeres. The ferry to the island is four blocks away. The street to the hotel zone is three miles south from the condo. Downtown Cancun is three miles from the condo.
