St. Simons is a perfect Island getaway with everything that you could need. The Historic Fishing Pier & Village has everything for all ages. The Island is full of historic sights and some great golf.

Close to Everything the Island has to offer.
We love to get away to SSI, whenever possible. This updated and beautifully furnished home was just what we were looking for. We enjoyed our walks down to the village center. Great location!
Close to all attractions on the island. Walking distance to village and beach. Plenty of room! Great property! Will be back. Love the island!

My boyfriend and I stayed in this house with 2 other couples for GA/FL weekend 2014. The location of the house was great, (walking distance to the square and the beach) but that's the only positive thing I have to say. When we got to the house, there was a note written on a paper towel stating the dishwasher was broken (who wants to hand wash all of their dishes on vacation?!). The internet was also broken and could not be fixed despite multiple calls to the "property manager" and multiple attempts by us to fix it. On the second day, we noticed water damage in one of the bedrooms that growing by the minute, so we had to contact the "property manager" to get someone to come out ASAP to fix it. The damage had already been done though because upon returning after it was fixed, the whole house smelled like moldy cat litter, yuck. The front pouch also collapsed one night when we were leaving to go to dinner, luckily no one was hurt.
As for the "property manager", he was a little less than helpful. While communicating prior to our arrival to the house, he basically knew nothing about the house and could not answer most of my questions (does it have patio furniture, a grill, internet, etc). Trying to get my deposit back was also a difffcult process. I'm pretty sure if I would not have bugged the property manage multiple times about the deposit, I would never have received it back.
Spend your money elsewhere people, don't be disappointed like we were.
The house was nice! Felt like our second home! Very close to the Village. Perfect for my family of 6! Very affordable! We loved the Island as a whole! Will be back next year! I would highly recommend the Property! Very Easy to rent and the owner made it simple for us!
This house has just about the best location on the island. We loved being close to the Pier Village yet still close to East Beach and Redfern Village. We had our golf cart to get around and the location was the PERFECT cart distance for everything.
The layout of the house was great for the guests we had, providing a central living/eating/entertaining space and sleeping space on opposite ends of the house.
The management company was very attentive to our needs, responding quickly to any requests.
It was nice to stay in a single level home as our regular house has two levels and we liked the one story a lot. There were only a couple of steps in from the garage or the front door. There were a few more steps into the back yard.
Although the yard was small, it was adequate for our Irish Setter who is always accompanied outside.
Few of the properties in this area had garages. It was so nice to have a two car garage to keep our vehicles in and room next to the driveway for our golf cart.
The appliances were new and TV's in every room...
We will definitely be looking at this property when we go back to the island.
This is a great place to stay in St. Simons! We came to SSI two weekends in October and chose to stay here both times. It was very clean, well-maintained, and nicely decorated. It has an open living room and kitchen area so it was a great place for everyone to congregate and hang out, and it has a big screened-in back porch which we used most evenings. We loved the location because it was only a short walk to the beach or the village area. I especially enjoyed walking to the Palm Coast Cafe for my morning coffee! The owner/manager was very professional and accommodating to our needs. I would definitely recommend staying here!
