“Waters Lure” located in the exclusive Ocean Club Complex, is a beautiful oceanfront 4 bedroom condominium. There are very few if any condominiums on the Isle of Palms equaling the proximity to the ocean and breathtaking views offered at “Waters Lure”. To compliment this amazing location, the spacious deck will offer the perfect vantage point to enjoy the sound of the ocean and the refreshing salt air breeze from the southwest that is predominating during the summer months. Ocean Club is a private gated community on the northern end of the Isle of Palms. The complex overlooks the well known signature hole of the Wild Dunes Links Golf Course and has many wonderful amenities exclusive to Ocean Club guests such as a pool area that includes a large swimming pool, sundeck, and hot tub. It also offers grills in a covered area adjacent to the pool which can be used by the guests – very uncommon for this area. The interior “Waters Lure” is wonderful and includes many features such as hardwood flooring. The living and dining area are surrounded with glass walls overlooking looking the ocean. Comfortable seating and a large plasma television highlight this area of the home. The dining room offers seating for nine. There are two master suites in “Waters Lure”, each featuring a king bed, private bath and access to an oceanfront deck. The first guest bedroom has queen bed and a private bath. The second guest bedroom features a day bed with a trundle. When the ocean is calling your name, choose “Waters Lure” for your next vacation to the Isle of Palms.
The Isle of Palms, like all barrier islands, has a dynamic beach near the inlet that separates the island from Dewees Island. The ebb and flow of the changing tides, through the inlet, creates and moves sand bars just off shore. These sandbars will channel waves between them, resulting in the massive buildup of sand along portions of the island where other areas may develop temporary erosional hot spots. These hot spots will feature a sand beach throughout the day outside an hour or so before and after high tide. Where a dry sand beach may be limited in these few areas at high tide, walking either direction will lead to an area where the sandbars have created an expansive beach to enjoy at any tide.

This condo could not be any closer to the beach. Enjoyed listening to the waves each night. It is very spacious and tastefully decorated. The small bedroom with a daybed and trundle was perfect for teenage guests or younger children. Largest master closet I have ever seen in rental condo. Views were spectacular. Only problem was the dryer which took three drying cycles to completely dry a load of towels. Felt very safe. Wild Dunes amenities are also nice.
The location of this unit compares to no other. You could sit in the main living area and feel as if you were on the beach. This area of Wild Dunes is not crowded and makes for a very peaceful vacation. The amenities in the unit were well appointed...I couldn't have asked for more kitchen items. I hope to stay here again soon! It was loved by all!
This condo is dated as far as appliances, fixtures, and furniture. The dryer does not work very well. The condo feels like it is almost in the ocean because of beach erosion. Only one patio is usable and it is full of sand because of winds. The balcony off the second is very small and the door leading out there can not be used. There is a broken sliding glass door resting on the functioning sliding door outside. The room with the trundle is very dark, small bed, big stain on old carpet. Everything feels old and overused. Brochure pics of the outside grounds are deceptive, no pool view, no golf course view, you feel like you are looking out your window on a cruise ship.
