A stunning view

  • 4 of 5

We had a lovely few days ,at this apartment. the views from the sitting room were fabulous. The apartment was spacious with modern facilities with a great location giving easy access to lovely areas of Cumbria and lLancashire. Great for cycling and walking. Good train links with Lancashire : we had a lovely evening out in Lancaster and caught the last train home at 11.30. Hope to return.

Lovely apartment in an excellent location

  • 5 of 5

Lovely ground-floor apartment in an unrivalled position on the promenade with excellent, expansive views across the estuary. The living-room is an extremely pleasant place to sit and enjoy the view, the tides and the ever-changing light. The main bedroom is on the lower ground floor, but has a good en-suite and thanks to imaginative lighting doesn't feel 'cellary'. Also, it was very generously-sized. The Christmas decorations were most welcome. As we brought our own Christmas meal provisions it was good to see that the kitchen was very well-equipped. The place was clean and well-maintained. We didn't use the private parking-space as there was plenty of available free parking at the front, but visitors in summer may find it indispensable. We felt that, as the street-lighting was less than adequate, some lighting in the front garden would be an advantage for winter lets. Heating was good. Arnside is a good base for visiting north Lancashire and the southern Lake District, especially via the coastal railway (surprisingly good service), and has a good selection of shops.

Relaxing, cosy property in a great location

Lovely property in a great location. Easy to get around is you are using public transport and pubs and shops nearby (including basic food shops). Very well equipped kitchen with every you need. Comfy beds and, of course, that fantastic view.

Superb location. Really helpful hosts

  • 4 of 5

This is a wonderful location and a spacious, well appointed apartment. My family and I had a great stay. And the hosts were incredibly responsive to each of the (small) issues that we needed help with. So this is highly recommended to anyone looking to enjoy Arnside and the surrounding area (we love it!). A minor point that came up for us, because we have small children, is that the master bedroom is downstairs from the rest of the flat. Maybe worth an edit to the listing (or a closer reading, if I missed that!).
