10 Minutes to the Beautiful Port, Great Sandy Beaches, Vast Choice of Restaurants, Cafés and Bars, Tram and Buses to the wonderful Soller Town.
Port de Soller is 45 minutes from Palma Airport by car via the MA-20, MA-19 and MA-11 which is a straight road to Soller Town accessed by a Toll/Peajé. The Port is a further 5km.
The Port is a natural horse shoe Bay and around its perimeter there are shops, restaurants, bars and cafés. The main street is pedestrian but shared only with local taxis and the Tram which runs between the Port and Soller Town.
The beaches are Blue Flag and attended in peak season by Red Cross life guards. There are various beach activities available.
Various boat excursions and fishing trips are in the Port, along with Car, Bicycle and Scooter hire.
The Tramuntana Mountains are popular with Walkers, Hikers and Cyclists alike. Mallorca is used as a Training Ground for several professional Cyclists in preparation for main Cycle Tour Events.
Mallorca has 30 plus Golf Courses, the most local and one of the most beautiful and my favourite, is Son Termnes, the back 9 holes being set in the Tramuntana Mountains.
The road from Palma into Soller Town is via Toll/Peajé which currently charges 5 euro each way. There are other routes to Soller Town, via Valldemossa and Deia from Palma, and from the north, via Pollensa across the Mountains. Both are beautiful journeys to enjoy.
Around Soller Town there are several villages to visit each with their own character and charm.
All around this area, Orange and Lemon trees are abundant as this was the original purpose of the Tram - To transport fruits to Palma on the Tram Train which runs from Soller Town to Palma several times each day - This too is a journey to enjoy.

We have stayed here three times now and this year was the best so far. The addition of air conditioning has made a great difference at this time of year.
The apartment was clean and tidy as always, fantastic views and local to the port.
Clean and well equipped property. Enjoyable stay in a very scenic location walking down towards the Port. However there was a very steep hill to walk back up from the Port to the Apartment. Not ideal in the extreme heat! Would not be suitable for anyone with mobility problems.The nearest grocery shop is in the Port Resort. Again not ideal having to walk up the steep hill with shopping. Car would be useful. Tram journey to Soller very nice.
